My name is Pastor Tony Catron I graduate from K.S.U. with a degree in electronic/electrical engineering. While doing that I became a Junior Deacon and also a musician in my dad's ministry in Cleveland, Ohio. Years later, my career took me to Michigan where I worked as a Electrical/Electronic Engineer. While in Michigan I became a Minister, then later went to Seminary training at Birmingham Bible Institute and became an Elder at a large Pentecostal church in Michigan called LLCC. I was called to the ministry by God. So I headed up an outreach ministry based on the End Times, dealing with restoration in people lives. Then my dad called me back to Ohio to help him Pastor his church. During that time, God changed my outreach ministry, turning it into a full-time restoration ministry. He gave me the name Ark of Covenant Ministries and the rest is history.

Sin Needs a Friend to Operate Their in, and What About Your Faith? Part 2

Read Matthew 7:13-23
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs
of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he
that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity, other would dare to justify the lie they had been living.
For so long that they believe the truth to be lie and the lie to be the truth. One might ask why, because faith without action is dead faith.

James 2:14-26
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not
works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest
well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Hebrews 11:1-8
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things
which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained
witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he
is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

In my conclusion here are a few things you would want to always bare in mind as being a Child of the One and only Son of the living God, our Lord and Savior Yahshua (Jesus). Being a people of faith, faith needs you to have these attributes:

  1. You must be active in His will for your life (James 2:14-17)
  2. Obedient in what is asked of you (Ephesians 6:1-4)
  3. That you have a clarity in understanding (Proverbs 4: 5-9)
  4. Be fully committed to believers (1 Corinthians 15:58)
  5. Patience & Humility (Philippians 4:4-7)

In Yahshua, name it is so.

Sin Needs a Friend to Operate Their in, and What About Your Faith?

We have heard it said that “sin is holding me down, sin is holding me back.” You might have even heard someone say that, “Satan is on my track trying to turn me back.” News flash; this is just in: Satan is not on your track or your back, neither is sin holding you back. It’s your love of the attributes of sin that are causing you to re-evaluate your stand on faith and salvation.

While in the process of evaluating that very deep contemplation, one begins to call up all their emotional tags and ties, thereby causing them to lie to themselves and to the Most High. The only conclusion one can draw is that it’s better to live as long as one can in sin before Christ comes again, hoping that the Christ will understand your heart so that you came be a part. But you best believe and know this, He’ll say, “Who are you?”

Time, Time, We Have So Little, So Stop Idle Wasting It!

Most people in the world today are too busy chasing down time trying to find out where it lives. Only having to find out, that they had been wasting time. We all are guilty of this by using some of these catchy phases for example you may have heard of some of them:

A. Well if you don’t know, then your wasting my Time
B. Can you tell me the Time
C. Quit sitting around wasting your Time
D. Why are taking your Time
E. Just don’t just keep lagging behind dragging your foot

These are but a few statements that we say throughout our lives to one another and sometimes in a good light or in a bad light. In any case, we need to stop wasting time looking for time. One thing that all of you should take note of is that while trying to find some, or as others might say “make time,” time will play a loop on you. In other words, while trying to find time or make time for a thing is that “time” has a few friends who love to tag along. Time’s friends are:

  1. Side track
  2. Lost track
  3. off track
  4. Idle track

Now when time’s three little friend show up, each one of them wants to take you for a ride. Well enough of us wasting time talking about time, let’s see what the Word of God has to say about time and being idle

Ecclesiastes 11:3-10 (KJV)
3 If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be. 4 He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap. 5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. 6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. 7 Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun: 8 But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for
they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity. 9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. 10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

As human being we don’t have that long of time up on this earth.

Psalms 90:7-11
7 For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled. 8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. 9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. 10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. 11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.

So just don’t stand around going through emotional pit falls doing nothing or just doing things that suit you because only what you do for Christ will last.

Ecclesiastes 9:9-12
9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun. 10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. 11. I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. 12 For man also knoweth not his
time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

1 John 2:14-17
14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the
world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

In my Conclusion, I’m leaving you with these from the Lord:

Ephesians 5:1-33, Ephesians 4:27-28 but all of the 4th chapter. You should also read 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12.

When Looking Back on Things in Your Life and What You Did, Where Are You Now?

There have been many songs that were written that related to looking back to your past. For example, the song “The Way We Where” by Memory, Stevie Wonder’s “I wish,” Earth, Wind, & Fire’s “September.” There is a fixation with our past. I’ve even written a song called “As I Look Back Over.” Yes, even I have looked back over the memory of my past, some moments favorable and others not so much. I really believe that spending to much time dwelling on your past can and will bind your future.

Philippians 3:13-15
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

There are many things that can keep you bound to your past, but there are 7 major things that can make your past your future:

  1. Sexual Emotional Attachments
  2. Pain of Unforgiveness
  3. Broken Heart
  4. Unfinished business (Good or bad) /Closure
  5. Pridefulness
  6. Jealousy/hatred of other achievements
  7. Unforgiven Hidden or secret sins of the past

One must understand that these 7 things can and will defeat your hopes, dreams, passions, and your growth in anything you desire to do in your future. Some of us tend to wonder why our lives seem like they’re stuck in neutral and in some cases in reverse. If you would just check to see if you are bound by any of these 7 major thing in your life, this just might be the cause. Sometimes we need to press pause on our life and begin to reevaluate ourselves and check life before we wreck it or our futures.

2 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

Even when taking communion, I tell everyone to examine themselves before they take it to clear up any miss givings that may be in their hearts or minds so that they want take it unworthily.

1 Corinthians 11:28-32
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are
judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

In conclusion, read Psalms 103:1-13
A PSALM OF DAVID.
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;
who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things;
so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The LORD executeth righteousness
and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses,
his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide:
neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins;
nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth,
so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say Oh or Is It Say So

How many of you know without a shadow of doubt that Jesus, “Yahshua” has healed, delivered, or even set you free when you knew you where bound? Have any of you faked any part of your deliverance from sin?
When was the last time you felt the Lord’s presence? How many of you are still searching for Yahshua’s presence in your heart, mind and soul? Do you feel like your life is a merry go round and you can’t find a way off? Are you causing an effect on life or is life affecting your life? Is this world getting you down or are you getting down in this world?

Psalms 107:2 says, “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy…”

The word Redeemed means:

  1. To obtain the release or restoration of, as from captivity, by paying a ransom.
  2. Theology. to deliver from sin and its consequences by means of a sacrifice offered for the sinner.
    —Related forms pre·re·deem, verb (used with object) un·re·deemed, adjective

I believe that one of the first things we should commit to memory after being baptized is what is found in 1 Peter 1:3-9:

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious
than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

The Bible also says in Mark 8:34-38:

34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Are there any in the house today who have been redeem? Well let the redeem of the Lord So!

In My Conclusion, I’ll leave you with this closeting thought from Romans 14:10-17:

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. 14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the
Holy Ghost.

It is rewritten and it is so.
