What are the Key Elements in Subjugation?

Force leads to Violence & abuse. Beguilement leads to subterfuge, meaning an artifice or expedient used to evade a rule, escape a consequence, hide something, etc.

Force

You can’t force someone to do something. For instance, when rearing children, if they don’t want to eat their food, you don’t force them. You find a way to help them help themselves so that they will find pleasure in eating. Forcing the child is a form of abuse. Yelling and fussing at others is another example. When something can’t come to a resolution with calm conversation, its thought that raising ones voice might persuade the other party to see their way. However, this is a form of abuse. Forcing religious doctrine is another form or control.

Violence

Violence is behaviour involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. This can go for mental abuse as well.

Matthew 25:52

Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

James 4:1-3

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Abuse

Use something to a bad effect or for a bad purpose; misuse. There are many different types of abuse: teen, child, elderly, adult, woman, male, sexual, animal, and celebrity abuses. Many who are abused have a distorted image of what love and authority truly are.

1 Corinthians 6:10-20

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Beguile

Pharmaceuticals give you promises with a twist; they influence you with trickery. Pharmaceuticals give you medicines that mask symptoms, with commercials that evoke an emotionally jarring response in an effort to get the viewer to use the drug, while downplaying the side effects of the drug. Money drives this world. Also, Church ministries get you to worship God without commitment to Him. Many do all the sins in the world that they want and worship Satan, but then they want to come to God to get healed. Social media tries to define who you are by giving you messages that shape your position in the society around you.

Who is Subjugation Geared Toward?

Lovers of this World 2 Timothy 3:1-14 – those who want to maximize their own pleasures through means readily available and attainable by their surroundings.

Self-centered Individuals Ecclesiastes 2:1-16 – Everything is about the advancement of self. No one who’s self-centered is ever happy. When you reach the point where no one looks at you or talks to you anymore, you get hurt.

Untapped Young Minds – One who hasn’t been breached by the idea of subjugation; One who lives in isolation, is sheltered from or has not been exposed to society so as not to know things that are common to society.

The Downtrodden & Poor 1 Corinthians 13:11- A vulnerable group of people who don’t have the basic necessities of everyday life such as shelter, food, or clothing, who can be taken advantage of due to their social status, who have the potential of being exploited.

Uneducated – Limited in obtaining a profession that could assist in making your way of living more comfortable, convenient or otherwise aid in helping rise above what is socially standard.

The Subjugation of the Human Soul

Subjugate means to bring under complete control; conquer; master. To make submissive or subservient; enslave.

Where, When and How Is Subjugation Implemented?

Between the ages of 6-14, children and teenagers are subjugated by being introduced to control. They are told what to do and when to do it. They are also introduced into vices, such as anger, pride, and most importantly selfishness. Kids encounter selfishness in school, primarily in the lunch room. When it comes time to share food, children are possessive and that type of behaviour follows suite at home with their siblings. In a household where sharing is common, this behaviour would be surprising to the parents. Teachers further this type of mentality by assigning you your own things, desk, locker, and supplies and so forth.

You can be subjugated by anything if you have no knowledge of that thing. This is why its important to be taught. Who is training your child? You or the school?

Mark 1

The Gospels aren’t just stories for you to read, but blueprints for you to follow. The Gospel of Mark has its own flavor that leads us into the understanding of the Son of God, Jesus the Anointed, promised Messiah.

Mark gives us a picture of the servant-hood of Jesus, doing the acts that were destined for Him from His Father who sent Him.

Throughout this first chapter, we see characteristics of what a servant should be, the importance of being obedient to God, the significance of walking in the authority of the One who sent you. A servant loves their master and the masters wish is their command although in a true and healthy master to servant relationship, the servant has free will.

The Wonderful News

Mark doesn’t start his gospel off with a lengthy introduction but rather goes straight to the heart of what Jesus came to do: bring salvation. This is the wonderful news about Jesus! Mark speaks immediately of John the Baptist who was prophesied to come by Isaiah. John was dressed very simply. He didn’t look like “a prophet,” dressed in the prestigious garb of the day. We can’t determine if someone is qualified by the way they look, and those who came to him to be baptized didn’t judge him as such, but listened with intention to his message and repented of their sins.

The Baptism and Testing of Jesus

Jesus was baptized by John, although not to remove sins, as He was sinless, but as a testament to the death of the flesh, to rely completely on the “Spirit-dove,” that fell upon Him. The Spirit compelled Jesus to go into the wilderness to fast for 40 days to be tested by Satan and He was met by wild beasts but Angels attended to Him. Its a reminder that we will endure trials just as the Son of God did. As soon as we get on the right path to God, Satan rears his head. Yet, God will surround us, even with angelic activity, to protect us.

Satan thought that the Son of God, perceived as a mere human, could easily have been tempted by human, fleshly weaknesses. The desperation of hunger and the desire for power Satan thought he could tempt Jesus on, but Jesus overcame by the Word of God.

Jesus Calls Four Fishermen to Follow Him

Jesus, immediately after His testing, went and taught about the Gospel in the region of Galilee, preaching repentance as access to the Kingdom of God. Jesus taught with authority. Think of a subject you’ve heard taught by two different people. One may have compelled you in a different way the other teacher did not, simply because of the authority and authenticity they carried.

Jesus also immediately called His disciples, Andrew, Simon, James and John. Immediately, they left their fishing endeavors and followed Jesus. How amazing that Jesus, unknown to them, by His very presence and authority would compel these perfect strangers to follow Him.

Jesus Casts out a Demon

Jesus authority was apparent when He taught. His words held such authority that as he spoke, unclean spirits within people listening to Him manifested in fear! It is sad because those who were suppose to fear Him didn’t, but those who you wouldn’t think to fear Him actually do. Jesus simply and shortly silenced these demons. There was no yelling or tarrying when He cast the demons out. They came out quickly. The people were astonished and instead of embracing this truth from Jesus, they constantly questioned it. They didn’t realize to what degree of a false reality they lived in.

Jesus Heals Many

Jesus healing Simon’s mother was very simple. He just touched her and she was healed. His fame spread because of His miracles, casting out demons and healing others. We need to see Jesus and take tips from Him. He was tempted, tried by Satan, over came, and was ministering to others with simple faith in His identity.

Jesus values the secret place of prayer with His Father, for he went away before the sun was even up to be alone. Jesus is always going against the grain of societal norms, having touched an untouchable leper. He had great compassion on his condition that He physically touched him to heal him. Jesus was discreet by telling the leaper not to tell anyone, but His ministry was nothing but discreet because many people flocked around Him.

Sickness is a part of the human condition which entered into our humanity because of the curse of sin. Jesus has come to break the curse of sin by healing everyone who was sick and oppressed by demons.

Jesus preached and healed and performed miracles in tandem. He didn’t do one without the other.

Matthew 28

The Resurrection of Jesus

What a wonder that women, those who were typically diminished in the then known culture, were the first to witness the unprecedented events leading up to finding out that Jesus was resurrected! Heaven’s realm crashes into the natural realm as the two Marys’ hear an Angel’s heavenly proclamation of the risen Jesus. The supernatural is awakening into the natural, shifting things.

Jesus was already risen before the Angel rolled away the stone. Remember when He appeared before the disciples who were inside their home with the doors locked (John 20:19-22)? Jesus may have walked right through the stone walls of the sepulcher.

However so, these women were privileged to hear the angelic proclamation that the King of Majestic Glory had indeed risen from the dead. Then the Angel of the Lord told them to go and tell the other disciples. The Angel also quoted Jesus from Matthew 26:31-32 when He said that after He was killed, He’d rise again and meet them in Galilee. The women hastened to go to the disciples, and on the way, Jesus appeared to the women! Glory! What a beautiful exchange they shared. The women were obedient to the Angels words, and on their way were met with a glorious surprise. Its a reminder of listening to the Word of the Lord with expectancy and readiness to do His will. Many are record to have seen Jesus: Paul on the road to Damascus and after his Damascus road experience (Acts 22:16-21, 23:1, 26:16), and many saw Him when He was with His disciples for 40 days (Acts 1:3).

Testimony of Guards at the Sepulcher

The Religious leaders went through such great lengths to cover up Jesus’ resurrection by bribing the guards who watched over Jesus tomb. The guards had experienced the earth quake as the Angel of the Lord came from heaven, rolling away the stone and then sitting atop it! No doubt these guards heard the Angel speak to the women. Yet when the guards told the chief priests and religious leaders about their 1st hand experience, the chief priests and religious leaders instead wanted them to spread false information about what had happened and for added incentive, they bribed the guards with money. Because of this bribe, the guards spread a false report that the disciples stole His body away. The scripture is true when it says the love of money is the root of evil (1 Timoty 6:10). Some who heard this falsehood were persuaded by its lie.

The Disciples Meet the Resurrected Jesus

When the disciples were able to see Jesus, they worshiped Him, but many of them doubted. Blessed are those who haven’t seen Him and still believe, yet they saw Him. We may not see Him in the physical, but He will reveal Himself to us in ways that are plain. Its just a matter of us growing in our discernment.

Commissioning His disciples, Jesus sent them out. He was sent by the Father to fulfill His course, and now having been given all authority by the Father He sends out the disciples and commissions them. Jesus says that they should go into the nations and baptism people. We know baptism is powerful to someone who has repented, because it is the means by which a soul is resurrected from spiritual death into the the life giving Spirit, Holy Ghost, Who makes them new creatures. Baptism also naturally leads to teaching and discipleship.
