Who’s Report Do You Believe Jesus or Man?

Because of so many options in the world today, along with their emotional attachments, our hearts are endlessly persuaded to other people’s points of view, even when we don’t have a clear understanding of the matter at hand. So many times, we’ll rely on blind faith in that person over our reason. So we base our logic and understanding and wisdom on our misguided, emotional, blind faith. This would explain in some ways why we do the things we do. There is a saying I often use: “It’s the choices we make that determine our position and end in this life,” and where our souls will spend eternity. The Bible tells us that everything is good in our own eye. The Word of God also says this:

1 Corinthians 13:12, 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. All of us at one time has looked through a glass darkly but now we should see through that glass clearly, that your hope want turn into is just hopelessness.

Proverbs 18:21 says, 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

You hear many times people say things like, “Don’t speak that into existence,” or “Only speak what you know and testify what you see.”

John 3:11 says, 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

Also, 2 Thessalonians 2:9-13 adds, 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

So there is one question you need to ask yourself: Who’s report do you believe?

The Word of God is telling you in Proverbs 14:12-17, 12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness. 14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself. 15 The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. 16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident. 17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.

Proverbs 21:2-6 also says, 2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts. 3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. 4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin. 5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want. 6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

Sometime We Want Our Soul, to Pay the Cost for What Our Flesh Has Bought

Human beings have a innate desire to destabilize themselves and all those individuals around them. In other words, if you are unhappy or unstable in your thinking or maybe even have a fear or even anger, you tend to surround yourself with like minded people. You may even in some cases be drawn to those type of individuals to your own detriment. Then others will look at you, classifying you with that type of person with statements like, “birds of a feather flock together” or “you are what your eat.”

Amos 3:3 says, 3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

This is making the same statement as a “bird of the same feather will stick together.” But getting to the root of the matter, there must be an under lining problem in you life that has been hidden and/or covered up that is coming to the surface out of a need for something that wasn’t fulfilled. Possibly hurt or emotional baggage that was not dealt with in some point in your growth both spiritually and psychological. As humans we are constantly introduced to traumatic and emotional events or situations between the ages of 5 through the age of 30 years that have yet to come to a resolution. These events have caused us to make the wrong decisions in life that we are feeling the results of today.

Here are a list of 7 major things that have caused individuals to make some terrible and sometimes unfortunate mistakes in life:

  1. Abandonment issues
  2. Abuse issues
  3. Loneliness issues
  4. Low-self esteem
  5. Self-Hatred
  6. Mentally unbalance
  7. No spirit to soul balance

Matthew 11:28-30 says, 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

This your time and this the right place to let yourself be set free in Jesus Christ today. In the book 2 Corinthians, its tells us we have to let go of everything that is holding us back and make that step to a new life.

2 Corinthians 5:7-10 says, 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

You must remember whom the Lord sets free is free indeed. Romans 14:12-17 says, 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. 14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Also Galatians 5:13-17 says, 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

To all who would be a child of the King, do as Jesus has commanded.

As Oxygen Is to the Blood, so Is the Holy Ghost to Your Soul

What is the unique relationship between oxygen and blood? Oxygen is necessary for cell growth and energy. It enters a persons bloodstream through the lungs. The blood carries oxygen to the cells of the body. In the cells, oxygen combines with the chemicals obtained from food to produce energy needed for each cell to preform its function in the body.

In the book “The Blood Covenant,” it talks of a blood covenant or an agreement for life between two individuals that can not be broken by death. One can only reflect back over the Biblical past of how God required a sacrifice. It was always a blood sacrifice. In all of the atonement sacrifices or offering God requires, its one of blood. However, there was only one human by the name Jesus Christ who was sacrificed for all the sins of this world committed by humans. God would only accept a blood sacrifice, because there is life in the blood. You must remember we serve a God who is alive, not dead.

Recall when Cain slew Able, and how Able’s blood cried unto the Lord. Genesis 4:9-11 says, 9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? 10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

As you can see there is life in the blood. Even in the dark world you never hear those involved with Satanic and Demonic practices say things like, “Let’s make a corpse sacrifice.” You can’t get anything from nothing, and you don’t go to sport arenas to see your favorite corpse running track or your favorite baseball player trying to strike someone out when all the players are out. You do realize Christ died for the living, not Timmy and the Grave Yard Crew. The God of god’s is not dead. How can He be when He created death to our understanding the concept of what death is. Realize this: God gave His only Son as a blood sacrifice for all of humanity.

Romans 3:23-25 reads, 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Leviticus 17:13-14 says, 13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust. 14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

You Need to Shut the Noise up in Your Mind and Heart

Have you ever had your mind or heart so full and overwhelmed with thoughts and emotions that your heart and mind could not focus on anything else but those memories and emotions? In some situations your mind was so locked up, that you couldn’t think or even sleep and sometimes wouldn’t eat properly. A lot of us have done the “miss direct.” You know the the one where you are staring right in the direction of some person, completely zoned out until you here these words: “do I know you?” or “why are you staring at me?” How about this: has anybody ever had something bother them so much that they got into their car, started to drive and while they were driving they came to themselves wondering when they’d even gotten into the car and for what reason? What about accusing someone of something, that came from a dream?

The problem of every human being in the Church, around the Church and in the world, is that our minds and hearts are so preoccupied with things from our past, things of the present, and possibly even our future. So much so that we will not get an understanding of who we are, what we are, and where we are. We will never know where we are going.

So lets look at where we are now in life; our existence in life calculated by three things: Past, present, and future. Past+present+future = Existence. Philippians 3:13-14 says, 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

So if any one of these processes is not met, there cannot be any growth in the mental, the spiritual or the physical. Let’s give an example: Lets say that more of a past situation has gained the majority of your mind, heart or both. Then your past, from the past, has already occupied your past fully, and it also has occupied your present which means you don’t have a present now because it has become you past. Lets try to calculate that. Past+Past+Past = No Existence. To know where you’re from (Past) and to know who you are, (Present) is to know where you are headed (Future) = existence. So to be preoccupied with the things of your past and not to be aware of the present and pertinent things in your life, there will be no growth in you. That means that you will become stagnant in your life, and that will cause you to have no future.

Mark 4:19 reads, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. One of the things that the people of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ suffer with is this: they don’t know how to let the desires of this life or the world go! They’re trapped in the mindset of having their cake and eating it too, as the old adage states. However, the Word says in 1 John 2:15-17 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We must not allow anything, any mindset or anyone to confuse our heart or mind to turn us away from Jesus Christ, and if you don’t know you better ask somebody. Colossians 3:1-2 says, 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Also Isaiah 26:3-4 reads, 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. Finally, Hebrews 12:1 says, lay aside every weight that so easily beset us.

It is so!

Which Button Do I Press in Life, Play, Pause, Stop, Forward, Rewind, Record

Have you ever wondered what your life would had been like, if only you had pressed the button? You all are probably thinking, “what button is he talking about?” Lets pause and press rewind to about 5 years ago. Now press stop at this point in your life. What were you doing? Sometimes we try to put things, as some would say, to the back of our minds, or some place in our minds where we don’t have to see it or face it anymore. By doing this, we will feel better about the situation and our part in it. Does it ever work? NO. In most cases, the individual starts having flash backs that cause them to have dreams or nightmares relating to that situation. Sometimes people think that if they just continue on in their lives, things will work themselves out. How many of you ever said those same words? As humans we have a strong emotional tie to things, events and situations in our lives. It’s seem as though we’re continually pressing or holding down the rewind/instant replay button. Some of us are living our lives on instant replay, just like the sports games we watch. Let’s see what the Word of God says about this.

Proverbs 23:4-7 says

4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. 5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee;but his heart is not with thee.

Here are four major questions you need to ask before you press play in your life:

  1. Do you like being where you are now in life?
  2. Has your life turned around for the better since you’ve been in control?
  3. Have you forgiven yourself yet?
  4. Do you know now where you are in you natural and spiritual mind?

If you answered “NO” to any of these questions, it’s time for you to be restored. Proverbs 3:5-10 reads:

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

If you don’t resolve any of your issues in your life now, they will surely rise up somewhere in your future at an unexpected moment with all the emotions attached. If it’s dealing with a relationship, it will always show up in the next one. If its job related it will always show in the next job. If its concerning your finances it will show up in dealing with your income, or in trust, or with men and women. How about dealing with self-confidence, fear, or even anger? Romans 12:1-3 says:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

In my conclusion read the following verses. Ephesians 4:25-29 says

25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil. 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Also read Matthew 5:37:

37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Colossians 4:6 says:

6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. in jesus name it is so.
