While Looking Back at Your Faults, How Bound Where You or Are You Still?

When looking back in retrospect over some of the bad decisions that you made, do you remember what state of mind your where in? At the time, did you recall the statement you made before you did the act or made that regrettable statement? Then afterwards, when it was all over, what was the out come and were you satisfied with the results? A short term revenge, will only lead to a longtime regret.

Romans 12:16-19
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

We sometimes hold other people accountable for our weaknesses or fallacies. A lot of times, we would get into altercations with other people over our own inadequacies. Let’s read the book of Jonah. We can not allow the sin of others to rest upon us due to their lack of faithfulness in themselves and the lack of understanding of God’s will for their lives. A lot of times we fall short of the mark in Christ Jesus due to the lack of faith in ourselves.

Romans 8:1-15 says:
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

In my conclusion, read 1 Timothy 1:3-10:
3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; 7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. 8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

In Jesus name, it is so!

What’s in a Lie and What Is Your Reward Telling One?

How many of you have ever told a lie? Have you ever told a lie and never told the true about it even to this day? Well, first what is a lie?

Lie Noun

A false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.

Something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture.

An inaccurate or false statement; a falsehood.

Let’s look at the anatomy of a lie. Below are some synonyms for the word lie.

• calumniator, defamer, libeler, libelist, slanderer
• perjurer
• distorter, falsifier
• equivocator, palterer
• gossip, gossiper, talebearer
• charlatan, cheat, cheater, counterfeiter, cozener, deceiver, defrauder, dissembler, exaggerator, mythomaniac, dissimulator, double-dealer, fraud, hustler, knave, mountebank, operator, pretender

We all have heard of or even have said these saying ourselves: “you’re a lying wonder,” or ” you just told a white lie,” or ” liar, liar, pants on fire.”

Well, if you didn’t know, lying does 5 major things to the human soul:

  1. Destroys trust with others and oneself (Roman 16:17-18)
  2. It destroys your present sense of reality (2 Thessalonians 2:8-12)
  3. It creates animosity (Proverbs 6:16-19)
  4. It causes loneliness forever (Rev. 21:8)
  5. You can die from a lie to the Holy Ghost (Acts 5:1-5)

In my Conclusion, let’s see what the Word of God has to say and read the following scriptures:

Colossians 3:9-13
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Mark 7:20-23
20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Will the World Know Who You Represent by the Shadow You Project?

Shadow: envelop in shadow; cast a shadow over, proximity, ominous oppressiveness or sadness and gloom

Represent: be entitled or appointed to act or speak for especially in an official capacity

Do you remember when you was little? When you tried to out run your shadow, but every time you tried, you would lose? Due to that as soon as the clouds would come, they would block out the ray’s of the sun on you, and these clouds would stop the ray’s of the sun from creating your image on the ground. So one would say that the sun ray’s would show you and the world the real image you are being covered by. How? When the clouds begin to move in between the sun and you, then your image will start to fade away then no one would really see the reason why you were once looking clear and strong. But the clouds in your life would begin to
obscure any signs of who you really are or who you represent.

Let’s read: Psalms 91:1-11
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be
thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

We must remember, that it’s the clouds in our life that blocks the view of what people see in us and about us. You can’t claim to be one thing but show the image of another.

Let’s read Matthew 5:13-20
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but
to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

In My conclusion, we all need to understand this one thing found in 2 Timothy 3:1-14
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of
God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

Selah! And it is so in, Jesus name.

Who’s Life Story’s Are You Trying to Repeat?

It’s so funny in many ways how people try to relive their lives through others, after having messed up their own. Giving themselves a second chance through someone else. You only have one human life to live the first go around. There is one thing you hear some people say and that is this: “If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would do things differently.” You might hear others say “I’m just human and people make mistakes.” But until you come to reality that you can’t live your life by excuses, you begin understanding that the life you made for yourself was completely done of your own free will. But to live your life through someone else will only lead that person down the same road you traveled in you own life.

So to teach, mentor or lead someone down the new road by the new understanding that you have, with the old mindset and understanding that you have now, which is tainted with the old thoughts and emotional anger, pain and broken heart, will have an overwhelm effect on your decision making, which just might turnout to be a form of control, and or subjugation mentoring. It would even prevent that person being delivered and also being restored.

Proverbs 21:2-4 says:
2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts. 3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. 4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

We must remember that there are five responsibilities of a child of God on this Earth and they are listed below:

  1. To give people an understanding of the truth of what this world is all about
  2. Teaching and of the kingdom of God and being an example for them
  3. Restoring human souls back into the true understanding why Jesus Christ died for all
  4. Create a path back to Jesus Christ
  5. For people to be delivered from their themselves and sin

Sometime I ask when will the heart of man and woman stop being jealous? When will they be less concerned about what others will people think or say or do if they don’t like how you live or what you do?:

1 John 2:15-17
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

In my conclusion, I’ll leave you with this verse: Philippians 2:1-11
1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

How Many Unopened Doors Are Left in Your Mind?

Have any of you ever been to a hotel and got on an elevator and went to a floor and then came out of the elevator? What is the first thing you see? Well the first thing you see is a long hallway, and along that hallway are a lot of doors; and all of the doors have numbers and each of those numbers a location where an event has or will transpire. In any case, the owners of that hotel, through one way or another, will have to bare the responsibility of all and any results of each one of the corresponding numbered doors on each hall on each floor of that building. Clients may ask, “how many rooms do you have available?” Before the front desk can answer anything with clarity, they must check with housekeeping in some way first.

This is somewhat the same way, our minds or “psyche” operate, by searching and checking the recesses of our mind to answer any task or situation that is asked of us. In that hallway on that floor, some doors may read “occupied” while others may have a sign on the door that reads “do not disturb” and others may have on it “storage,” and that door can only be unlock by management or maintenance. But today we’re going to talk about the “do not disturb” sign. Sometimes in our mind, we have a way of thinking that we don’t want no body to disturb or discuss, because to do so will cause you to challenge your self made theology and in some cases may cause you to call forth that Peter spirit in you when the Lord had told him, “Peter, if you live by the sword you will die by the sword.”

Proverbs 14:7-14 says:
7 Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. 8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit. 9 Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour. 10 The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy. 11 The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish. 12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness. 14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

It’s not until a person opens and releases the contents behind that door in their mind or even their heart that there will always be apart of themselves that will never be free. This may be the reason why a lot of things that you have had dreams and vision about haven’t come to fruition. You see, Jesus can’t bless or restore back to a level to do His will until you release you. A lot of times, the Lord has set you free; but we haven’t set ourselves FREE!

Proverbs 23:7-9 says:
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. 8 The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words. 9 Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

In my Conclusion, Job 8:6-15 says:
6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous. 7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. 8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers: 9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:) 10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart? 11 Can the rush grow up without mire?
can the flag grow without water? 12 Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb. 13 So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite’s hope shall perish: 14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider’s web. 15 He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.
