Your Christian Walk Seen Through Your Eyes, Not the Word

We walk in this Christian walk, but we’re not walking via the Word, but by what we see. When we see and hear what others do, we’re not walking according to the Word, but through others, by our own sight and might.

Have you questioned your walk in life or even your walk in Christ Jesus? To some, this may be a daily occurrence. I’ve questioned my walk so much even on a daily basis because I wanted to know if I was going about it in the right way. I’m always checking myself. As we look back at our daily activities, looking at what we might have said or even did that may not have been the most ideal thing for us at that time. To most of us this time of reflection usually ends up with us wishing we would have never said this or that. Maybe we should have never went to that place or that person’s home in the first place. Sometimes we go by blaming ourselves, calling ourselves out of our name, accusing and attacking ourselves, because we say to ourselves, we should have known better. We attack ourselves severely and don’t have a referee except the Holy Ghost to make us stop. In some way, we tend to let others ever so lightly dictate our walk. We allowed someone to take us there. We allow others so slightly and so delicately dictate our walk, via their worldly knowledge and understanding which causes us to go off-kilter, leading us into a false sense of a salvation. This will ultimately lead you down the road of destruction. Some will say, “why are you dragging me into your situation?” I need somebody to help me instead. Not to sound selfish. We tend to want to tell people leave us alone, but they still want to bother us in their worldly understanding.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 14:12

By you having them do what they want to do, indirectly or directly, you’re leading yourself down the train of death. We don’t need other people to help us, we need the Holy Ghost to help us. It gets to the point where you only see the Holy Ghost through your understanding that is being dictated to someone around you. If a person doesn’t know and understand, they should not be teaching people. Don’t tell me advice about something you’re not doing. You can’t live what you talk about. Some people say, “Do what I say, not what I do.” Sometimes I have to get away. You can’t see your walk through the Word because you’re too busy distracting me. The best way to help me grow is leave me alone.

On this road of death, you will encounter people who are just as lost as you are. You can’t help each other because what can you tell the other except lies and deceptive understanding? It would be as though the blind leading the blind and as the Bible reads, “they both will fall in a ditch.” If you don’t know and I don’t know, who knows? For example, if you call a taxi and when they arrive, they ask you how to get to the airport, would you continually stay in the taxi, or you excuse yourself and look for someone more competent? For some, they would probably sit there and try to reason the situation so the taxi can get you to your destination, instead of getting out of the taxi and finding the correct taxi that knows the way. Someone says, “Do you know the road to salvation?” How do you take the road to salvation? Friends and family talk to you about things they don’t know about.

But sadly as it is, this what is going on with so man people in the Church today, putting their trust in other people, whether friends or family, following them instead of Jesus Christ out of an emotional tie and so called obligation. They allow that to be their deciding factor for their walk and salvation in Christ, not even allowing the thought to enter their heads or comparing what they say to the Bible. In some ways, some might take the word of their friends or family as the Word’s of God. Some people insinuate others to listen to them because they’re quoting the Word of God. If someone claims to come speaking a word from God for you, it should be a confirmation to you. If its a contradiction, then it tells you they aren’t in God. Your confirmation in Christ will lead you where the Holy Ghost wants you to go.

The Bible clearly tell us to trust in the Lord and lean not unto our own understanding, but acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. Not your family, not your friends, not your husband, or your wife, but God. If you allow yourself to listen to them and engorge your soul with their understanding, it will slowly take you off kilter. Its because you’re allowing people to put in your soul things that are not of God but of them, and that unrighteousness will come out of you directing your path to the wrong direction.

1.) For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; 2.) That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3.) In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4.) And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 5.)For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6.) As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7.) Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8.) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9.) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10.) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Colossians 2:1-10

What is beguilement? Overwhelming talk to you to convince you that what they say is true fact. The Holy Ghost will bring confirmation of what people are telling you, whether its is a lie or not. A lot of times out of emotional connection, we’ll not listen to the Holy Ghost, but to people instead. The Bible tells us to work out our own salvation, with fear and trembling. You want your soul to be governed by the Word of God, not by the word of man. If you are a Child of God, things are in order. Your understanding is in order. The Pastor won’t give you something at a 4 year grad level if you’re someone in the junior year. The Pastor has to be in order and deliver to you in your level of spiritual awareness. If you are filled up with a lot of mess from other people, you won’t even know how to deal with yourself, let alone other people. If people know you’re an open trash can, what will they do? You’ve seen things that go in garbage cans. Some of it stinks, and the odor rises. That is how you are. You’ll go forth and what is in you will ooze out of you. The Bible says that kind of stuff stinks in His nostrils and you become a walking garbage can. What do you do with garbage you don’t want anymore. Do you keep it in a room and say this is the garbage room? We take it out of our house and toss it, because we don’t like the stench it gives. You shouldn’t like the stench you give if someone is using you for a human garbage can. The garbage doesn’t have to be tangible, but words which produces a spirit of distention and contention. You’re always causing division or always saying no about everything. You are the one who asks the question, “I know the Holy Ghost will lead and guide us but what if we…” As you receive Christ as Lord walk in Him. Not in your friends, family, or bosses will. Don’t walk according to their understanding. Walk in the Word concerning Christ. We walk in other people’s understanding of the Word of God. People will take the Bible and put their words in place of some of the words. The older generation use to say concerning the Bible, “conduct your business like men.” But I quoted it as “from the Bible,” because I allowed myself to be the garbage can for someone who didn’t know. People are constantly interchanging the words of Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit because someone else did it. They didn’t look in the scriptures and see that there is a difference in the scriptures about it. You became a dumping ground for their garbage. People say they are filled with the “Spirit of God,” but I don’t know about you all, but I’m fill with the Spirit of Christ. You think its the same. God had a Son who redeemed us from the grave. What was His name? It was not God it was Jesus. We can’t perceive a God. I don’t have a concept of God, but I know God told me, “I sent My Son back, hear Him.” Why because this one’s going to die for your sins. So when I tell you, they’ve twisted the Word around that you wouldn’t understand that there is only one God, faith and baptism. There is no one on Earth who can die for you, so I have to send Myself down as a Man in flesh form, because I and My Son are One. So when people talk about that’s the Holy Spirit. They will throw out tidbits of something they don’t know. If a person talks to you and they don’t know, they’ll fill you with misunderstand. Its like the blind leading the blind.

Be rooted, built up in Him. Its all about planting. Those who are Children of God are farmers. The Bible says one plants, one waters, but God gives the increase. The seed you plant is going to come up. If its the wrong seed, it will come up jacked up. For every word that comes out your mouth as a Child of God that is incorrect and you put in someone else…Don’t listen to someone’s half baked word of understanding. But if you’re around it, it will find a place to sit and hide. That is why later on in your walk you start stumbling. When you’re full of poison, you’re full of garbage. You’re stumbling because you’re sick from your soul. That is why you can’t think right.

Do you know why Satan plays his music all the time around you? Because he was the angel of music in heaven. Subliminal cuts in a theaters are a prime example of how Satan tricks you. You’re watching a movie and as it plays, right in the middle of the movie you see a cut for popcorn and drinks. We fall for it and buy everything from the concession stand. We fall for it with the Word. Someone gives us a little word, we put that in our bucket, the bucket of our minds. Then you end up using something someone else says that isn’t right. That’s how Satan trips you up in your walk. You’re going along, and Satan’s ready to make you slip.

The Holy Ghost will lead and guide you. Its these phrases that we hear that get us caught up in our Christian walk, but we can’t see it because we’re looking through the flesh of others. Its not of God or the Word, but the flesh. Then we question ourselves and beat ourselves up and call ourselves names. We sound more like the devil to ourselves than the devil himself. Didn’t you realize when he spoke to Eve, he didn’t stay around and try to hang out with Eve. She took the bate. Sometimes we’re not walking into a situation blindfolded, but our eyes are clearly open. Sometimes we do things and say to the Lord that later we’ll ask for forgiveness. We have become the garbage can for other people’s dumping ground. How would you like it if the garbage truck comes to your house, into your room and dumps all the garbage for the day in there? Think about the mess that your bring into your own bedroom. You can’t even lay down properly because so and so is on your mind, and they’ve dumped into you. You don’t need their garbage in you. Walk away. But if you like garbage, you’ll sit there and listen. I don’t care if it is your Mom your Daddy, your sister, your brother; walk away. I don’t need to hear your mess and I don’t need to take it to my chest. Keep your mess off my chest. I don’t need your mess in my heart.

Christ in you is the most powerful thing, because in you dwells the Godhead because you have the Holy Ghost in you. Christ in you is the most powerful thing. That is why Satan is afraid of you so he can keep you confused so you can’t rely on the power within you. The presence of Christ is in us, so we have to be careful not to be the garbage for our family, friends or jobs. Would you throw garbage on Christ? No. Well every time you listen to your friends and family, you throw garbage on the Holy Ghost inside of you.

We must remember that our walk is private and we must walk out our walk by ourselves with the heart of a child, but with the characteristics of an adult. The book of James tells us not to be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, even if it’s from friends or family. One is saying this and the other saying that, and the Word of God is in the middle. People saying they know what’s best for you. You have to realize this: God is coming back after us as individuals and won’t have other people with us. If they see you get close to what is going on then they dump in you. Every time you get close to understanding, you get so much negative talk. People will talk about you, and they don’t know whom their working for. If you’re not working for God then your working for the Devil. You have the Holy Ghost, the Son of the living God, living in you. Back then the people of God only relied upon the presence of God around them, but Satan didn’t realize when he killed Jesus, He allowed Jesus soul to inhabit whomever He wanted. If He’s in you, Satan can’t touch you. If you know that, you’ll realize why he tries to destroy you, because he can’t influence you or deceive you.

You need not go to the world or you friends and family on how to walk or live holy. Just go to the Word of God and the true men of God if you need answers to your Christian life and walk. Let read what Ephesians has to say about this:

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:1-17

God sees in you as a Child of God, the Holy Ghost in you, the presence of God will pop up out of you and He will know you are His child. All those who proclaim to be His child, but the Holy Ghost is not see in them, they are not of God but their father the Devil. How is your walk? You’re seeing your walk through the eyes of others, not through the Word. Your mind and walk should be based on what the Word of God says. People will tell you the Holy Ghost will lead and guide you. There is only the Holy Ghost, there is only the triune nature of God. They want you to get confused, because the Spirit of God dwelled with them but not in them. Its the Holy Ghost, not the Holy Spirit. God’s Son, Jesus said He would seen back a comforter and he said it was the Holy Ghost, not the Holy Spirit. You have to understand when people try to dump in you mess.

I’ll leave you with with the word according to 1 John 2:1-6:

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

How many times does it talk to you about your walk? Walk in love, walk in His understanding, walk as His child, walk, walk walk. Its your walk in life that is the most important, that you don’t allow anything to disturb.

Not All Tracks Lead You Home

Have you ever seen animal tracks on the ground and wondered what type of creature or creatures made them? As you begin to look at the tracks a little closer you notice how many toes each foot print had. As you notice how one set of tracks goes off in one direction and others in another and disappear in the distance, you can’t help but wonder where they were headed. We might even put a little scenario together depicting what may have taken place were all the tracks that went off in the distance could be head to. Maybe they were headed home.

I can’t help but think about our own lives in our walk in Christ. If someone was to look at our tracks on the ground, would they be able to tell what had happen to us or even surmise what type of situation we could been in or tell what we were going through? Some of us have so many tracks in our lives, many of which go in circles and others head back and forth on the same tracks or path, disappearing in the distance, never to be seen again. Even others mixing with even more tracks, ending up blending in multiples of other tracks. In some cases the tracks go off in a direction then stop and never move again. There is famous Christian work of art called “Foot Prints in the Sand,” depicting scenes two sets of tracks headed in the same direction then all of a sudden, there are only one set of tracks. It depicts you and Christ walking together, but later there are only one set of tracks. What does that mean? Christ is picking you up and carrying you the rest of your walk. As we look at our individual Christian walk and lifestyles or steps, are they even head home? Or are they head to an unknown destination of our own choosing? One needs to ask oneself if their tracks are headed home? Maybe you don’t know where home is, or maybe you’ve lost your direction, because you do know that not all tracks lead to home.

Do you remember the story of Hansel and Grettle? The trail of bred crumbs were left to lure the brother and sister to a trap disguised as a Ginger Bread House, decked with other goodies and edibles. Isn’t that indicative of what we do? We see little crumbs in our lives, leading us to a path we shouldn’t go to. When we get there, its so tempting we want to at least try it out. That is what Satan does to us all the time. He leaves a bread crumb trail all the way up to a sin we’re familiar with, which does not lead to the road of salvation or home, but to a destination of sin. We pick it up one piece at a time, and when we get to that point where that sin is right in front of us, we don’t see it as sin. Not all tracks lead home.

There was a song by Commissioned called “When Love Calls You Home,” and the chorus went like this:

For when love calls you home
Forgiveness embrasses a past you once owned
And all the mistakes that carried your name are gone
‘Cause that’s what happens when love calls you home

When Love Calls You Home – Chorus | Commissioned

Do these lyrics have a significance in your life? It did in mine when I found out that my home is not here on this Earth, but in Heaven. The Lord died on the cross for me that I wouldn’t have to worry about not making it home. When love calls you home, those are the tracks; the things that you’ve done; those are the things that are forgiven you.

We need to understand that not all tracks that we see in our lives lead us home. Sometimes we get confused on our walk/journey; maybe we can take shortcuts. By pass all “this” to get “there” quicker. But all of “this” is what we needed to get “there.” I don’t want to go to so and so because I don’t like it. But you don’t realize that you need so and so to get to your next stage in your walk. We have that kind of mentality in us that we reject the path that lead us in a direction that we are caught in a loop of infinity. Repeating the same sin, meeting the same people. Everything is not conducive in our walk to get where we need to get to. Its too late to experiment. God has a purpose for us and direction we need to go in. He’s calling us home. He’s not calling us to a party, He’s calling us home. How can we go home if we’re getting confused with some tracks? There are some tracks that go way out there.

If you don’t remember anything else I’ve talked about know this: you cannot do this alone. You can’t. Your walk is indicative of you, but God has placed helpers along your walk to bring you to your senses, in your walk. They may say things that you don’t like. Maybe there is a part of your life that needs to be corrected. They may say things and do things that will call you back to your knees in prayer. That person may be in your life to make you get on your knees. The Lord is trying to direct us home, and we keep trying to take the alleys and wrong directions and the Lord is saying what the Psalmist said:

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Psalm 37:23-25

Why not? Because the Lord is our helper; provider; our supporter; our righteousness. The Lord is with us in every time, anytime of our need; there for us at any place in our life; He’s there. So our steps are ordered by Him. Its us who get disordered. We want to do what we want to do. We’re sassy sometimes to the Lord aren’t we? He says He wants us to do something, and then we pretend like we didn’t hear Him. The Lord sometimes takes us through hard times and places in our lives that we don’t understand because we say “We’re children of God! Why do we have to go through slings and arrows?” Maybe because we haven’t gotten it yet. Sometimes we don’t see the tracks that God wants us to see because were too busy making our own. Or sometimes we try to step into other peoples tracks. We try to interfere with other peoples walk or follow the tracks of others. But God has another destination for them, so why are we trying to walk in their tracks?! So this is the reason why most Saints don’t operate in what they operate and where they should be because they are trying to follow someone else tracks. God didn’t make you to be someone else mold. He doesn’t want you to go following them, because your tracks are not going to lead where their’s lead. You have to go all the way back to where you started, when you’ve followed someone elses tracks and found that at the end you don’t like what you get.

How many people are plowing the same field that has been plowed over and over again— walking in the same tracks? We can’t do as the old folks back then. Why? Because in their time they were doing things concerning that time. We are in our time and we’ll experience according to our time. We want to live according to what someone else has done who made it through. We think that if we walk their path, we’ll make it through. No! God has a purpose for each and every one of us. He doesn’t need clones. There is a uniqueness about each of us, which needs to come forth so God can use you in an area. God chose you so you can reach certain individuals that others can’t.

People are watching your tracks in your walk. They’re watching how you go through this or that. They knew who you were, and who you are now. You won’t have to convince them. When you speak a word they will already be convinced, and you’ll save a soul. We have to be about what our walk is. Not someone elses walk or talk, but be what God has made us to be, and we better be good at what we do. God doesn’t have unskilled people in His Kingdom. If it doesn’t fit you, don’t be concerned about it. You have a purpose, and one of your responsibilities is to do your purpose the best way you can. Its the same with all of us. God is watching you and trying to bring you to another place. He’s the one who sits there and scrutinizes you in your walk. He’s watching.

12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.15 The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.

Proverbs 14:12-17

The Word of God is the answer to everything in your tracks. What do your tracks look like? Can I really understand what a person is going through by their tracks? To a certain degree. You may not know mentally, but by their walk it delivers fruit, because people are known by the fruits that they bear. We know that an apple tree produces what? So a peach tree grows what? An orange tree grows what? The reason why I’m saying this is that you expect a tree to bear the right fruit. So if you are a Child of God, you should be able to exhibit the Fruit of the Spirit. You shouldn’t be going through turmoil where every time someone see you, you look miserable. This is the problem that most Saints are dealing with; they don’t know who they are. When you confront them, they say they are a Christian. Who died for you on the cross? People try to get you confused. Is it God or Jesus? God was on the inside of Jesus, and Jesus is on the inside of us via the Holy Ghost. The same which was in Him is in you, and greater is He that is within you than he in the world.

Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.

Psam 25:4-7

Teach me thy paths! Those are tracks. We’re being taught the path. If you’re being taught, who is this Word good for? Everyone who would hear. You can’t make a person hear the truth. But you can live the truth around them, so that when you do, they’ll say, I know you, you can’t do that of your own, so they’ll give glory to God. This should be our testimony before God. Lord remember me, but don’t remember my youth because I was jacked up and acted as a child. You need to write these words down on the tablet of your heart, in your Bible, or on your cell phone. Put it down so that when you’re going through you won’t give up; so you’ll remember one particular thing: you’re not alone. Don’t ever think at anytime that you are alone. The Lord never meant us to go about doing this alone. We are helpers one to another. If you’re going through, you have sisters and brothers to call on. You are your own worst enemy.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:5-7

Are You Caught in the Whirlwind of this World?

How many know that this world has not stopped for you? If you get caught up in it, it will destroy you. Those who were bred in the whirlwind will live by the whirlwind. Those who weren’t bread in the whirlwind, it becomes a death trap.

Do you remember when you were growing up? The things going on around you? Let me tell you a situation that went on in my life. I remember when I was young and lived on a farm. It was a hard life, being the only son. The many chores around the farm like raking the hay, filling the corn crib with corn. All animals love corn, chickens, pigs, even humans love corn.
Corn is a nutritious vegetable even bugs love to eat. Chickens were the greediest of all the animals, eating several kernels of corn or more, storing them in their crop, and quickly looking up for more food! Corn is a staple crop for the world. Now the chores of the farm were these: My dad made sure I got up on time to get the corn and put it in the crib. Our crib was all wire, 12 feet high and 15-20 wide. At the time we had 100 Muscovy Ducks. 50 Geese, small pecking ducks, 95 head of hog, 2-3 heads of chickens, Guinea, and so many different animals. My dad was old fashioned from down south and he had an old corn shucking machine. When the corn cob went in the machine, the corn kernel was removed, and the cob was left. I had to use that over and over again, and I’ll never forget how you had to crank it, and I would try to go fast. The corn had to be shelled in order to feed the animals. But what I observed while using the machine is that it would rotate and whirl, the cob going down the little hole, knocking off the kernels. To my understanding, due to the whirling motion in combination with the knots on the rotating disc, this was drawing the corn cob down. The cob was good for nothing, but the corn was the attribute of the cob. You don’t see people go into a restaurant and say they want 4 cobs, but rather, they ask for corn on the cob.

One can’t help but think that this is the same way Satan does the saints of God. You know how Satan will draw you into a thing? As he does, he would slowly pull you down into the thing, just as the wheel on the corn machine slowly pulls down the cob. As you are walking in your Christian walk, there are things that Satan doesn’t like about you. He doesn’t like that you are in love with God, that you have peace; he wants to knock all these attributes off of you, taking you into a whirlwind, turning you around, taking you through one test after another, after another, not giving you a chance to rest. He’ll draw you into one situation after another, just like the corn cob being pulled down. He uses things he knows you love, causing you to be pulled further and further down the corn shucking machine. A whirlwind moves unbelievably fast, but it doesn’t always have to be fast. If you’ve ever seen the whirlwind in a bottle of liquid spinning around, when you stop it what happens? It gets to the center, and spirals down until it gets to the bottom. This is the way Satan operates. He uses something you like, and pulls you in. Say for instance you have strong love and faith. You think he’ll come after you with anything but what attacks that love and faith? As you are being knocked about on the disc turning, it represent the trials and tests which knock away the things in your Christian identity.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 2Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23

Satan goes after those attributes in your life that you are good at. He knows how to grab it and turn it against you in your walk. Its a crazy thing to think that you can get away with things without Satan trying you at it. He will set scenarios in your life concerning your faith; if its food, finances, maybe faith, he will try to knock it out of your life to weaken your walk. When the corn cob goes down in the machine, it can’t come back up. Its the same way with Satan, he takes you down, and he hits you with accusations, just like the little nobs on the machine hit the corn to loosen it from the cob. You are being challenged, making you aware of things you’ve never seen before. Sometimes when the corn goes through the machine, there are still kernels left on it. So you have to pick it back up and put it through the machine again. Satan says, “Oh you still got a little love left in you, huh?” He takes you back through and when you come out, you’ll be loveless. Every cob that came out was barren, and we would burn it up, because it was good for nothing. This is what Satan wants to do to you. He wants to take every iota of Galatians 5:22-23 from you, so you have no patience, no love, no goodness, and no faith. What are you good for at that point? Nothing. That is why he doesn’t give you rest in between times; no reprieve at all. He wants to continue to whip your be-hind. He wants you to be weak. Then when you go and cry and plead in self pity, the Lord waits for you to come out of it. He will put His Holy Ghost in you to walk in faith. He’s trying to get us to know one thing: that we are the head and not someones tail. What comes out the tail? There is a smell coming from the tail. Do you want to smell in God’s nostrils because you can’t do what He called you to do? When you do the thing that you’ve done that caused you to get in the whirlwind, Satan comes and whispers in your ear “didn’t you just do the thing that God told you not to do, again?” Then you go into self pity.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Luke 22:31

Satan is not doing anything that he doesn’t normally do to those he hates. What you do have to worry about is if he isn’t doing anything to you, because then you may be doing something Satan loves. When you are caught in that whirlwind it won’t let you recover from the last attack before it hits you with some other challenge on your Christian identity because Satan’s purpose and attack on you is to overwhelm and to shock and awe you so that you won’t be able to make the right decision in your Christian walk. In other words, to keep you confused and away from the clarity in your life to keep you off balance. The more he keeps you off balance the more he will delay you with your relationship with Christ to the point you’re tired and wore out so that you would give up and turn back.

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:2-8

Don’t be concerned that you will go through trials, but concern yourself on how you will go through. How you go through is the key point. Patience can’t operate in you if you’re constantly moving. Patience from the very definition means to be still. Be still and know that He is God. So, we make a mess of things when we get involved. Let him ask in faith and waver not. The Lord gives you choices that won’t disturb or hurt you, because if you had the choice yourself, you’d choose something outrageous.

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Luke 21:34-36

Have you been drawn away with things of this world you shouldn’t be dealing with? Then you’re involved with the cares of this life too much. You have to realize Satan will throw every weakness that you are weak with in your face. Because Satan loves you. He loves to defeat you, delay you, and keep you from the truth, making sure you stay in bewilderment, making sure you find out nothing about who you are in the Kingdom. You need to have a good understanding concerning your walk while you’re down here. You need to be very conscientious not to be caught up with heartaches, headaches, and drunkenness. What do people with heartaches do in the world? Get drunk. When the hangover has gone, guess what? Its still there. While you are caught up with these things, it doesn’t stop the coming of the Lord Jesus. While you were getting caught up in yourself, a soul that you should have talked to goes by.

Pause:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Ephesians 4:14-15

There is a program going around to deceive the Children of God. We are targets for Satan when we operate in the Will of God. We can’t let man trick us and give us a false sense of salvation. The Word is very clear. Men are cunning. Women are cunning. If its for their benefit, then they will guide you away. Satan wants to keep you asleep, confused, and off balance, not knowing where to go and falling every step of the way. Don’t make your life about being one big show for this world. We are lights and examples for this world. You can’t be an example if you’re sitting there among those in the world. Don’t stage, or rehearse your salvation, so men will see and honor you. Don’t let your praise be staged. People want to know the truth. Don’t be a walking lie, but become a walking testimony.
