Change Today, ‘Cause Tomorrow Might Be Too Late

Who are you today, what do you believe, and where is your heart? Is it safe or is it hidden from prying eyes? Do you love yourself? What is going on with your life? Are you satisfied? Do things seem to be out of control? Are people getting the real you? Is there a need of validation in your life? Do you know you and what you’re all about? These are some of the questions you need to ask yourself to find out who the real you is all about. A lot of times we pass by this world daily not being aware of who we are…where we are. You ask someone who are you? They say they’re a human being. But what makes you alive? Does a body walking around to and fro make them alive? Do others look at you as being alive or just an individual occupying a space, filing an area where no one else is? Do you really matter? Who do people say you are or what you are?

In this age and generation and the inter-connectivity being utilized mostly by everyone through mediums such as Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google and may other social media platforms, human connectivity has been taken to a whole other level. In this age of insta-facebooking-tweets, people are poring out who they really are to the point where they’re living out and baring their life stories, live about what they believe, even their most intimate and inter-most thoughts and ideas. They’re expressing their hated, anger, even their sexual orientations. In other words, as the old folks say, coming out of the closet on Instagram and Facebook, then Tweeting about it. It’s bad enough that the world is doing this, but now the Church is heavily involved the same way, bearing all their weakness before the world instead of before God. They are even soliciting help from their followers or patrons, looking for them answer their life dilemma, only to hear someone’s opinion or observations, of which they don’t have a clue of what actually to say or do. They’re giving advice of which they don’t even follow themselves. They don’t even have a solid foundation themselves for their own life. Why is it that those who’s lives are out of order are always trying to advise others on how to structure their lives, not understanding that the advice given is only as good as the person that gives it? They seem not to understand that the advice that they give if it didn’t help them, how is it going to help others? It’s as how the Bible puts it “the blind leading the blind,” and the Word of God says they’ll both fall into a ditch. They haven’t taken the time to look back to see how many times they’ve been wrong. How many times have you been wrong listening to someone else’s advice? We never look back, but we still take their advice. You’ll say to yourself, “I’ll take so-and-so’s advice because I know its true.” Well it’s true according to their level of understanding of what truth is. What is their understanding concerning a subject? The only information they can give you is based on their own understanding. So when someone tries to give you advice who doesn’t have a clue, its not advice, but confusion.

You’ve never fired a gun before, and neither have I. I could tell you that the bullet goes into the chamber, then you rotate the chamber around and put more bullets in, then you pull the trigger. That is my limited understanding about how a gun works. Now this device doesn’t dent, but causes a lot of pain and even death. It would be more advantageous to go to someone who has knowledge about it, instead of someone who gave their opinion about it. An opinion is what you think it is. An opinion is your understanding being weighed into a conversation you don’t have any clue about. He’s a hobo telling you how to get a job and gain money so you can take care of yourself. He’s asking for food and he tries to tell you how to get a job. Makes no sense. That person should take his own advice, get a job, so you won’t have to give him money for food. This is wisdom. This is where the Church is suppose to come in and regulate people’s thoughts and minds about what they’re saying but the Church has fallen into the same things.

Does it seem right for someone in the Church to go out into the world and ask about spiritual things? As a Christian, do you think it seems right to go to the world to know if God is dealing with you? They’re going outside the Church to get prayer, because they feel like they can’t go to the intercessor who is in the Church, who will pray the Lord’s will in your life, as oppose to someone in the world who will tell you what you want to hear. Do you know some people don’t know how to pray? The Lord had to put a training manual in the Bible. “Our Father which art in Heaven…” It doesn’t make sense to those of us who don’t pray. The Bible tells us to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, being thankful to Him and bless His name. Your prayer is an entryway into the presence of God. When you create the entry way you say what is on your heart. When you get in there before His presence, be thankful, then you will automatically bless His holy name. What can the world offer the Children of God? They can’t offer you anything. So why do we seek advice from people who are the world, even if they are our friends? If they’re not of God, then they are in the world, and if so, you don’t need to hear anything from them. If you have an issue, why take it to the world and not resolve it among yourselves? How dare you do that? Is that your sister? You’re suppose to love her as you do yourself. You aren’t suppose to go out into the world, and paste it on a billboard, biting and devouring one another. Some of us need to change today, because tomorrow may very well be too late. We don’t know the time He’s returning, but we should do one thing: be ready, because He is ready. He can travel between dimensions and be right here, because He made dimensions.

Allow Him to be the best He can be in you and the only way is to set yourself free. Allow yourself to let Him set you free. He doesn’t go against your will. You have to realize that its you that may be standing in the need of prayer, admitting I’m a no good, wretched man. We are the one’s with the faults, going outside to the House of God to solicit help for our mental problems, seeing psychologist. Does the psychologist know Jesus? No he’s atheist. You have a spiritual need that he can’t fix. We go outside the Church for help. We need to recommit ourselves back to God saying Lord You are my Heavenly mentor, my guide. Lord help me change the way I use to be. All the understand you need is the the Word of God. The only people you want to listen to are those who study and know the Word, because when they quote things to you, they quote from the Word. Does everyone understand the Word of God? It’s given to Pastors who are after His heart, different than everyone else because they are after His heart. You may read it this way, but the Lord will give it to the Pastor another way that will effect you one way. Some things come by praying and fasting. You may say, “but doesn’t the Word have it?” Some things come by praying and fasting. The Lord needs to talk to you personally, and you need to deny yourself so when you come to Him, you can hear Him, so your mind and heart will be open. Then when you pray you’ll be praying the right thing and not off the deep end.

By the fruit you shall know the one’s laboring among you. What is fruit? The works that they do that glorify our father. You’ll never hear them gloat over what they’ve done, but glorify the Father. After you see that a person has fruits, try them. The Bible says that He’ll do the same thing about your works. He will try them to see if they are stubble, gold or silver. If it doesn’t pass the test, then its a mess. That person, you try them. Its not saying you’re setting them up, but you’re finding out for yourself that you can trust them. Give a little piece of information and see where it travels to. If it beats you back home and you just told someone something, then you have to question. Try the spirits. See what happens when you get them angry. See if they stay saved and start flipping you off.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:5-7

Don’t get advice from other people. Get advice from God. You always will have someone who will tell you how to live. The Word of God tell us not to lean to our own understanding but in all our ways acknowledge Jesus and He shall direct our path. It’s so important that we are careful from who we get advice or even help from. There may be an ulterior motive for the advice or help. That person will look at you side eyed saying they will help you expecting something in return. They will bring up, “Remember I did this for you?” If you don’t do it, they will guilt trip you, and drag your name through the mud. They’ll forget all the things you’ve done for them. Whatever happened to the brotherly & sisterly love thing? People will do what they do to get over on you, but they’re suppose to be your brother and sister, however you have to love the one that deceitfully uses you.

Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye. For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Luke 6:42-46

Do you know anyone like that? They find fault with you all the time about little things, but they have a beam in their own eyes. If their life is not right, they can’t give you good advice because they’re not right. Just don’t take someone’s advice, weigh it. Satan operates in that “not rightness,” to cause the Children of God to sin. I don’t care who it is, even if it’s your aunt whom you’ve believed in for the past 45 years. This is what people do all the time. The Lord tells us to cast our cares on Him, because He cares for you. We need to hear and heed the voice. Will the Lord use an unclean vessel to tell you something clean? If you aren’t serving the Lord as you should, would people you talk to be hearing from God? There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is the way of death, because they’re not connected to God. If you have a phone, and its shut off, you can’t receive phone calls. Its the same way with God. If you aren’t connected with Him 24/7, then what will I get from you if I’m listening to you? We need to make sure that we just don’t grab advice from people just because we know them. Do they have a personal relationship with Him? Does He know your name? Ask yourself that. Does He know your name? Then you need to re-calibrate yourself. Reset, reinitialize. Reset your life and reinitialize from that point on.

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honor than the house. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 3:1-14

After Moses told them to wait so he could receive instructions from the Lord for what they would do next. As soon as he left and go to a certain part of the mountain and they couldn’t see him, the Children of Israel began to party and reminisce on how it was in Egypt. You need change from the old you to the new you in Christ Jesus. Remember old things are pass away now all things have become new.

This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness

2 Peter 3:1-11

Don’t be carried away by people who say they’re saved and they aren’t and say the have all the answers for you in the Word of God. The Bible says we are a peculiar people. Why? Because we follow the Word of God to the letter and we understand what God says and we wait for His coming. I don’t know about you all, but I can’t wait for Him to return. There isn’t anything else I need to be worried about. No pain anguish, and trifling things. This is my hope of glory. Sometimes people are just ignorant of what the Word of God says about His coming. “Where is the Lord? Why isn’t He here?” They complain about why He hasn’t come. There has to be a ready made up mind in your heart that you have to let this world go. Some of us can’t because we’ve planned all our goals, trying to pay bills, relishing in paying so one day we’ll not have to owe anyone anything. Live each day as though it were the last. Its no more time to play Church anymore. The day that you hear His voice, harden not your heart. When you hear His voice, and feel Him speaking out to your soul, start making a change. You’re tomorrow could begin today.

In Yah’Shua, Jesus name.

Is What Men Say Better Than What God Says?

As we began to live our lives in the year 2019, a lot of things are being uncovered and revealed. The truth can no longer be hidden. The life changing reality about ourselves is becoming real to us each day in a season of time, like a movie coming to a crescendo in an orchestra of life, being played out on this world-stage. Sometimes you hear people say, “my life is going before my eyes.” Later came sooner than what you thought. A lot of times we get caught up in a situation in life. For me I had a career that was more important. You don’t need anything but your career right? Wrong.

Truly these are the last days, when you see men, women and even children boldly proclaiming a so called liberty. Some of us don’t understand what liberty is and we take it for granted. We always quote the scripture “whom the the Lord sets free, is free indeed.” That isn’t free to attack someone, or steal. You are free in your mind, because we have been bound in our hearts and minds for years. Who told you you’d have to work for 8 hours? We know at the end of 8 hours we get paid, because someone has instructed you to work. Have you ever thought about who told you to do the things you do? We proclaim “no one tells me what to do!” Yet we still do it. Is it us or someone else who showed us about doing it? Many things that come to our hearts and minds are not from us really. Its from our lifestyle and surroundings, being dictated to everyday of our lives. How do you know to drive on the right side of the road? Some things become a blunt truth to you. You do things that won’t interfere with someone else. But there is no one telling you who to love, right? We choose to do what we do.

One of the first and true signs of a society that is beginning to decline is when those in that society loose their sense of identity and true purpose of existence. You become a statistic. Do you know why you exist? Have you ever thought about it? What does it mean to you? When you have a society that allows young men and women to run the street like ravenous wolves mating with the first thing they see whether male or female and sometime animals, and some of the older generation are afraid to say anything or are so busy, caught up in their own types of sin that they don’t take the time to do something about it, until it directly impacts them… We all have a certain routine in our lives don’t we? If we step out of routine, we forget what we’re suppose to do. To some of us sin has become a routine because we do it so much and so often that we don’t think about, as it has become a part of who we are. When society dictates to us that its ok to have a sin nature and we follow after it, where are we? When you see young guys getting young girls pregnant, and Dad’s are telling their son that its ok, what sort of society do we belong to that we don’t respect one another? When you are in a state of mind that its ok to hurt someone, where are the parents who care? Society doesn’t care where your children are, what you think about your family, or that your son or daughter are on the street at 2 and 3 o’clock in the morning; the hours that Satan likes to be busy.

Parents are caught up in their busy lives and don’t have “time” to tell the truth and disciple their kids concerning the truth. Mom’s out trying to find a boyfriend, and the daughter’s out trying to find any man, and the son is out there impregnating any woman. If that situation isn’t taking place, control is where someone is trying to get someone to do something that they want carried out for themselves.

1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3:1-7

Even in the House of God some of us are more concerned about what others say about us then what Jesus might say about us. Does what the world say weigh heavily on how you conduct your life in this world? Does what your so call friends say mean more then what Christ or Yahweh says? Does what your family say cause you to second guess your walk? How about your boss or maybe even your peers? Do you seek approval from the society or even the world? Do you seek validation from someone in order to feel confident? Are you afraid to be left outside in the rain of life while everyone else goes in? Is fear a big part of what you do? The fear of not being accepted, understood, received, or loved? Are you despondent of telling or standing up for the truth? What does standing up for the truth mean to you? Are you concerned someone may not like you anymore? Some of us see the problem in our lives, but we’re afraid to stand up and say “I know!” Who is your worse enemy? Yourself. If you are your own worst enemy, its you who accepts what people say about you, who stands up for the truth, and who is not ashamed of the Gospel of truth, because its unto salvation. The Lord says is there one? Is there one who will stand up for the truth? Who loves Him enough not to give up on Him, and not to surrender to anything else?

When you’re caught up in that whirlwind of a mess, its hard to take your feet and step out of it because its sucking you back in the moment you come out of it. What do you do? The Word of God tells us choose ye this day whom you will serve. Will it be God or this world? What will it be? The choice is yours. We still have the ability to choose what destiny we want in our lives. When you go to either heaven or hell, you can’t say to Christ that you never had a chance. When you stand before Him, you can’t bring up that thing that caused you to sin, because He said He’d never give you anymore than you could bear without giving you a way of escape. In other words, you had an opportunity to get out of the mess but you decided to stay in it because you were afraid of what people might say. You’ve been in sin so long, that you don’t know how to get out of it. Don’t allow someone else mess to become yours. They always want to drag you into their lives, one way or another. We have so many things we’re dealing with that we don’t need any others. Are you tired of being in the rain?

37) But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: 38) That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? 39) Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40) He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. 41) These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. 42) Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43) For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

John 12:37-43

It may seem hard at times to confront our reality about who we are, but the only way healing can take place in you is to face yourself straight on and forgive yourself and begin to walk in the truth.

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
The last scripture I want to leave you with is:

2 Timothy 2:3-5

When you are in the House of God, you are being taught how to survive this world, if you want to survive it. Its up to you. Teaching and training you through the Word of God and the wisdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He prophecies before we go into things and tells us whats going to happen. We have a problem with entangling ourselves in the affairs of this life.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Timothy 4:3-5

How many want to grow? Everyone right? Are you tired of being stagnant? Where does stagnancy come from? You procrastinating your destiny. I can’t make anybody grown. Now if you’re a plant, I could give you good spring water, peatmoss and fertilizer. But you aren’t a plant, but a Child of God, and the only thing I can give you is the Word of God. The Word of God will grow you up if you allow it by the renewing of your mind, you’ll be transformed. The way you use to be, you won’t be anymore.

Are You a Time Redeemer?

How many of you, have ever said “I wish I had the time to do this or have done that?” Maybe you’ve said, “If I could only get back that time I wasted.” What is so ironic about that internal conversation is that taking the time to think about how you wish you would have taken time to accomplish something is in itself a waste of time, if you don’t reconcile a way of redeeming the waste. When I received Christ as my Saviour, got baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, as a young person I was still youthful, and began to do things that weren’t conducive to my spiritual walk. Then as I matured in Christ, I began to say in reflection back, “Oh if I could have those youthful days over again, I would serve the Lord in my youth and have the time to do this or that.” Some things you can’t recover. If you did things that lead to this or that decision, due to the environment and mind set you had, if you had the life to live over in the same environment, you’d make the exact same decision, because its due to certain constraints in your life, thereby repeating that episode all over again. That is why its so important that in order to bring our lives into some type of control and stop dwelling on the events and situations of our past understand this: there are things you can’t recover.

A. Virginity. Can’t be recovered.

B. A word that has been said. Whatever intent behind the word whether kind or evil cannot be taken back, and has no strings attached to them. The Word of God says that we will be given account of every idle word that comes out of our mouths.

C. An event after its over. Once its over its over. You can’t recover that.

D. Youth after you have grown older. Can anyone recover their youth? No, its gone. Oh if you’re 20. “I wish I was 15.” If you’re 30. “I wish I was in my 20s.” If you’re 40, you wish you could go back to your 30s. Oh how sweet to go back to those moments. But when you were living them, you did so frivolously. You can’t recover that.

E. Time after it has passed. Do you remember those things? We need to maintain that in our heart that if its already done, its done. It has been racked up in a list in Heaven, giving an account of everything you’ve done in your life. Summation is either everlating life or not, heaven or hell. You are going to give an account. If he knows the number of hairs on our head, then the very idle work or act you do is being registered to your name. Are you a time redeemer? Can you redeem your time?

If you remember these sayings, it might help you move past the past. But you can redeem time, but not in the state that time is viewed as, as in passing of occurrences, thoughts, movements, moments in existence. You can’t recover that form of time, but in the true sense of the word redeem. Redeem means to compensate for faults or a bad aspects of something; to save, rescue, vindicate, reclaim, regain, repossess or rescue. Simply trying to get back where you started. To reunite yourself with you. To reunite yourself with you. If we use the words I just mentioned in a sentence, it would sound something like this: Save means from me. You are your own worst enemy. That is redeeming. I need to be vindicated from my past. Sometimes your past becomes your future, it haunts you because you never forget the things in your past. Not forgiving you for what you’ve done has been a problem for the Saints and the world. I will reclaim my life. Whose life is it? Its yours. Do you want someone to keep your life from you? Regain. I must regain who I am. A lot of us are walking around today and they don’t know where they’re going or how to get to where they don’t know they’re going. Repossess. I need God or Jesus in my life so that I can repossess my soul. Some of us have given our souls to Satan, doing his work everyday. But I need to have the knowledge of the Kingdom to repossess my soul. Sometimes we do things unconsciously not realizing we’re giving ourselves to something evil, then afterward we try to build ourselves back up to regain who we are. You’re soul is who you are. Not your name. The name is the expression of someone’s outward expression of who you are. The Word of God tells us not to be afraid of someone who can destroy the body, but body and soul, then cast it into hell.

13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Ephesians 5:13-20

Add the words I just spoke into verse 16.

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

16 Save the time, because the days are evil.

16 Rescue the time, because the days are evil.

16 Vindicate the time, because the days are evil.

16  Reclaim the time, because the days are evil.

16  Regain the time, because the days are evil.

16 Repossess the time, because the days are evil.

16 Rescue the time, because the days are evil.

All these words are telling you to grab a hold of the time you have, to utilize for your walk in Salvation, and bring others along with you, so they can be inspired to follow Christ. This is the time that we’ve spent doing frivolous things, so we can regain, hold and repossess our own souls for the work of the Kingdom. God is not just saying that, He is not mocked, whatever a man sows that shall he reap. Reclaiming the time. I need to reclaim that time, reclaim my life, regain who I am, vindicate my past, and I need to save me from me. The days are evil. Its getting harder and harder to maintain who you are. If you get caught up in society, they’ll possess your soul and you’ll try your best to be running after your own soul. If you do the things of the world, then the world dictates to you how you should live. Without God in our lives we can’t repossess what was stolen from us. He will restore the years that the canker worm has stolen from you. Worms take little bites here and there that weaken the structure. Its the seeds that people place in your lives that slowly eat at you, and you don’t realize until it confronts you and you can’t combat it because you’re broken down inside, eating at your self-will for a period of time. Then you don’t have the strength to say no. You can’t always allow people to conduct your life. The Word of God gives you advice on how to live holy before God. Your soul is not like a car where when you get done, you go and give it to the junk yard and get a new one. A name doesn’t dictate who you are, but a name is what people see you as. That name isn’t who I am. Who I am is what God says I am. He is the possessor of my soul and He should be of your soul. Whatever He says to do you should do, not what you want to do because it was you who got yourself in the mess in the first place.

People try to bring up excesses for how their life is going in the wrong direction. We blame everyone except ourselves. We don’t want to face who we really are. Redeeming who and what you really are is to ask the Lord to save you from you. I need to reclaim who I am and what I am because the world has told me I was “this,” but they don’t know the real you because they aren’t directors of souls like God, they only direct the outward person. They hope that directing the outward person will cause the inward person to follow along. You look at people who are recovering from drugs or alcohol. They profess they are not alcoholics or drug addicts. The act doesn’t justify who you are. You allow the possessor to control who you are. We allow the wrong thing to take control of us, guiding us doing things that we shouldn’t do. Its appealing to your flesh, not to your soul, common sense, or who you are. People adjust their life to the things they like; To possess or gain what that thing brings to their emotional standpoint in their walk. Some in the Church will say “I like going out to hear prophetic sayings from other pastors.” Why? “Because I need someone to tell me what I should be and where I should go.” Satan will tell you anything your flesh desires, to cause your heart to waver. We need to get a grip on who we are, redeem who we are, because these days are evil. There are little things catching you up easily. The normal superficial things we see; arguments, anger, places we like to go, things we like to watch, books we like to read…these are superficial things, but it goes deeper. The superficial things are keeping what is really going on with you camouflaged. We need to redeem ourselves from ourselves, be vindicated of our past, reclaim our lives, regain who we are, and we need God in our lives so we can repossess our souls. Satan knows how to work you externally, but not via your soul. He doesn’t know how to get to your soul because its off limits to him, but he can get you by the things you are influenced by. If he jacks you up externally, your soul will suffer. The Lord said “cast your cares on Me because I care for you.” He says there is no need to worry. But when Satan gets us to worry or get angry, it disturbs our soul, and we can’t get righteousness to flow in us because we’re upset. Satan knows what button to push in our lives to get us to come out of Christ.

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:12 -14

They are things that are called baggage. We don’t forget the baggage, but we carry it forward in our lives, and wonder why we keep suffering from the same things in the past. Anything that you tie to yourself that is behind you will always hold you back. Past sins, desires, lifestyles or people. You can’t keep living in the past because everything there smells. David said, I was young but now I’m old. But one thing I do remember is that never have I seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. When you were young leave what you did in the past there, and don’t bring it to your future. Many are caught living in their past. Wondering why they never got over that old relationship, constantly bringing it to the front in the new relationship. Forgetting those things behind me. This is the process of redeeming the time. You are a redeemer because you forget those things behind you, thus reclaiming you. How many want to reclaim who you are? I need to be vindicated of my past, because its holding me back like an anchor on a ship, and I can’t move forward. A person who continues to allow the anchor of their past to hold them down, will never have a bright future. If you are in a place today you’re hard pressed to get out of, just look at your past.

How long halt you between 2 opinions. Some of us get saved, and baptized in the name of Jesus, and we tell ourselves that we’re now going to walk in the light; in whatever God brings our way and use it for our walk. As soon as we start walking, Satan brings all the people up from our past. That is why the first word for the definition of redeem is “save.” We are our own worst enemy and need to saved from ourselves.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Ephesians 6:13-16

Even though the days are evil, we have the whole armor that we may be able to withstand in those evil days, having done all we can do, stand! Hold your ground, you are a Child of God, and have been made the head and not the tail. These are the evil days. Stand for what you believe. The armor needed is already with you. Guard your loins with truth, a breastplate of righteousness to guard your heart, and have peace on your feet. The little darts of Satan are those who belittle and put you down that cause you to question who you are. But if you have faith, which is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, then you will stand, unmovable, always abounding in the love of God.

Let’s Get Deeper in Jesus’ Will for Our Lives

Lets get deeper. Sometimes we go surface. Deep mean you go into the root of the whole thing. Why are you here? When you understand God’s heart, and the fact that He saw your ending before your beginning, and He knew you before you made it here on Earth. For Him to understand and know you, its a special thing. He knows your quarks, He know how your soul was before it came here. You were up in Heaven before you came here to Earth, because you were conceived in Heaven. That is why you should be longing to go home to Heaven.

Have you ever had something happen in your life where you didn’t understand what was going on around you? Have you ever had clarity in your life at one point where you say “wow, I’m here.” Have you ever had an epiphany? It goes beyond that. You’ll have the, I-know-who-I-am moment. I knew who I was and where I was, not location wise, but where I was in my walk. You’ve heard the term crystal clear, yes? Even the word crystal means a solid material whose constituents are arranged in a highly order microscopic structure. Why is that so important? Can you look through walls or ceilings? But if every molecule was operating at the same frequency, then you could look straight through it. When you understand what Christ means to you and you understand what He did for you to get you where you are today, then it should be crystal clear that He loves you, needs you, and that you have a purpose. Because of that fact, where are you now?

People always say they see you, and know all about you, but in reality they don’t. The only one who knows you for who you really are is Christ. If he knows about you and says He loves you, why do you question when He says something to you? He already knows what the response is before you say it. Lets get deeper than that. When you woke up yesterday, He already knew what your plans were for that day. He knew what kind of mindset you’d have while doing it. He knew what your heart was going to think—-every vibration of movement in you—-He knew what would take place. We never can perceive the move of God in our lives, because if we can’t see it, touch it, taste it or smell it, then its not what it is.

I see thing happening in people’s lives; sometimes I see things that I don’t want to see. But when the Lord gives me leave, then I speak about it. I walked into a room where a demon was on a person, but I didn’t call it out. The demon knew I knew it, and everyone around had hatred, anger, selfishness, and that demon was at home. Because demons thrive in confusion. They can’t thrive in structure; they must get out. So it dwells in confusion and mess.

Christ came that we would have life more abundantly. He came that we would be free and delivered from us. Satan has no realm or dominion over you because you’re a Child of God. God came to set the captives—those ruled and captivated by Satan—free. Resist, and he will flee. What is resist mean? To hold back. To let go of that temptation. You know when you’re right in the middle of arguing with someone, and you have one word that will resolve the situation, but really makes it worse. That kind word, leave out of your head, and that harsh word comes. Satan want to tick you off to get you to stumble, and he usually does it before those who are Christians. The Lord is able to determine and interpret the very intents of people’s hearts. People may put on a show before others, but He knows the heart. If you have a deeper relationship with Christ, you wouldn’t be acting crazy like you are today. Most of the time, people tend to follow after the crowd, but not after Christ. The Lord is trying to teach us one thing: to get deeper in Him. Because if we understand Him, then we understand where we are.

Has anyone ever asked you a question, and because you didn’t care for them, know them or like them, to get them out of your space, you pretend as though you agree with them? Sometimes we give people response to something out of fear because we’re afraid that they won’t do what we’ve asked them to do or be where we want them to be. You don’t understand a word they speak, but you’re afraid of their reaction. It takes a lot of self control and disciple to give a person the truth in every case when its put upon you, instead of dancing around the truth. How can you go deeper in Christ when you’re still living a surface life, and still walking a surface walk? Well what’s a deep walk? When your meditation with God is not about you but about Him. Everyone here, including me always go to God and ask Him something to benefit us. But do we ever go to Him and ask how He’s doing, what His heart is? Philippians 4:19 says “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Why do we ask God for stuff? He already knows what you need. If you go through things, you don’t think He knows. When we ask for things, sometimes we ask for the wrong things.

Deeper understanding of who God is and what we need to do to get a better relationship. It takes a heck of a relationship to walk up to bones in a grave and say live and the bones get up. It takes a heck of a relationship that Elijah being dead, when a dead person was thrown on him, that the person lived. Elijah had holiness to the bone, that even his bones emanate the glory of God. Why? Because he had a deeper relationship with Christ. Back then it was the Spirit of God, not the Holy Ghost, that dwelt with men. Christ is a relational type individual. The last thing He did when He left out was he had a relationship with 12 men and 2 women. What does that tell you? He wants a relationship with you. More than just a man wants a relationship with you, who can love you mentally or physically, Jesus can love you to your soul. He wants a relationship with you that you two can talk.

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Colossians 3:9

When you’re in the world, your mindset has a deed behind it. When someone gets on your nerve, or pushed that last button of your emotions, how do you react? Unkindly? How deep is Christ in you? Are you willing to hear the truth from someone?

10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Colossians 3:10

It is critical that people be honest with themselves and with others because it is written that there is nothing that is hid that shall not be made known, as in the case of the woman at the well:

And he must needs go through Samaria. Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

John 4:4-5

What is Samaria? Its a piece of land in central Canna, the capital of the 10 tribes that revolted against David. These tribes contain two tribes of Israel, Ephraim and Manasseh, which contained a mixed group of ethnic people. The Jews had no dealings with the Samaritans because they were mixed with all manour of foreigners. The Jews were told not to deal with the Samaritans because of this fact, though the Samaritans believed in God.

Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

John 4:6-11

She began to describe a situation in her own life. You have nothing to get the water with and the well is deep…”I’m so caught up in the mess that I’m in and I don’t know how to get out! I’m so worn out and tired in my life.” The thing that she wanted was to dip down, and get the water. The thing that could help was sitting right in front of her that could get that mess out of her life. Christ was telling her that He could give her living water. She was looking physically that there was nothing for her to get the water out of the well.

12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. 15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

John 4:12-15

She was still on the outward expression, He was answering the deep in her, calling the deep. He was calling her from out of the deep, to fill the soul. But she keep referring to a physical well.

16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. 27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

John 4:16-30

He was deep in her, looking deep, into the depths of her, seeing her real person, seeing the mask that she was wearing, findint out the her well was dry. She had not hope. He was telling her that her well would not go dry, because He would fill it. In our walk, are we deep with Christ like that, or are there still things in our lives we need to clear up? He was answering her spiritually, and she was asking Him naturally, but she caught it after a while. When He told her about herself, she told her whole village that He was the messiah. Its amazing how when the Lord comes into our lives, when we are hurting, asking for healing and restoration of our hearts, where no one understands, that we allow our injuries to be a burden to us. We don’t cast our cares on Jesus who cares for us. He won’t put anymore on us than we can bear without giving us a way of escape. He will show you the door. The question is do you want to take the door, or sit there and fight?

Its not easy facing who you really are. This woman at the well had issues, issues like a lot of us do. Jesus was sitting on the well, and telling her give Me water. She was dry inside, and in other words, Jesus was saying, give Me some life. But she had no life in her. She was telling Him about herself, not realizing she was talking about herself. She had nothing to pull out of herself. Its deep. In other words her hurt, pain and anguish was deep, and she had nothing to pull that deep thing that caused it out. So that is when the Lord said, He’d give her water that will never run dry, settling the issue that cause her hardship. She needed Him to fill her up to bring that mess out that was causing her to be what she was.

Christ is telling us that today too. The well is Him. He will never run dry. The main thing is Christ is asking for a deeper relationship. It goes beyond the normal surface relationship. You know the way to let the Lord know that you want a closer walk with Him? You’ll turn away from the things that you were doing wrong that cause Him to hurt. Change your life because you don’t like the bad things you do. You let this and that go, then the Lord will pursue you. You’ll be so tight with Him, that when someone sees you, they’ll see Him.

31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours. 39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. 40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. 41 And many more believed because of his own word; 42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.43 Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee. 44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. 45 Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast. 46 So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. 48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. 49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. 50 Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. 51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. 52 Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. 53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. 54 This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.

John 4:31-54

We’re all constantly getting water, getting fed, and He says the harvest is ripe, but where are the labours? They’re all inside getting fed. You can’t be wounded all the time. We tend to take the Word of God for granted, because we’re under Grace and Truth, and not under the Law and we tend to think we can do whatever we want. But He says He is God and changes not. If He says we shouldn’t kill, it means we should not kill. Our relationship with Christ has to be deeper than it has been. You don’t want a surface relationship. How do you know when you have a surface relationship with Jesus? By their fruit, they’re impatient, not kind, rude. You don’t know if they’re on a walk or journey. If you’re on a journey, your trying to discover. If you’re on a walk you know where you’re going. Those on a journey don’t have a relationship with Him, but the people on a walk do because they know where they are going. If you’re on a journey you’re out to discover something, but when you’re on a walk you know where you’re going. For the Children of God, we should know what our walk is and be secure in it. The problem with the Church today is that they are on a journey; a journey of discovery of who Jesus is—what He wants from us. A lot of us don’t know where we fit in, so we’re on journey.

We should play closer attention to all that God has for us in our walk, doing what He says, when He says, how He says, what time He says, and where He says. At all times be truthful with Jesus, because He knows already, and also be truthful with others too. The Bible says to stop living to gain what is in this world and tell the truth.

25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Ephesians 4:25

Live Each Day as the Last

There was a song by The Costers called “Life Can be a Dream.” We tend to make our lives, not allowing God to make our lives. By doing so, we run into a lot of problems; problems with us, not with what God says.

Do you remember when you got out of High School, and began to look for your first job? Then you started making plans for your future. You started imagining, seriously, what your life would be like. You’re out of school now, and you have nothing left but to ponder what you’ll do for the rest of your life. Some would say, I’m going to fall in love, get married, have a family and have 1.5 kids. The future is not always what we perceive it to be. As we go on, as young adults, we always have a tendency to set up things in our minds ahead of time. You’re taught throughout school to have money so you can live you life, have the nice, car, clothing, home and significant other, then your life can move forward. You try to make the right decision, whether or not to complete you schooling, or get a better job. You’ve already calculated how your life will be. In your life you try to reach a certain thing at a certain time, so at the time frame you’ll have what your goal was. You have a goal that at the age of 27, you have your career, money in your pocket, and eventually have someone by your side.

Then life happens.

The chain of random or unpredictable and unforeseen events that throw you off balance. When you are going along in your life, you’ve got your savings, you set ways of what you’ll do, then all of a sudden life hits you. Life hurts doesn’t it? When it hits, it seems like life doesn’t care about you. You have a whole plan, and now its been ruined. As a man, these are the type of tings you run into in life: you get laid off, you don’t get accepted into the college you wanted, you start hanging around the wrong influences, you get in a car accident, or your girlfriend gets pregnant. Now your life stops, for a moment. How many unwanted kids are out there who are fatherless, and in some ways motherless, due to the mother trying to get her own life together? Here are the things a woman goes through: getting stuck in a dead end job, getting a lot of debt, under pressure to live according to a peer group; you get pregnant by the wrong guy due to overwhelming emotions, with not enough finances to take care of yourself or the baby.

You need to face the fact that your life has taken another change. Its too late in your life to go back and try to correct a decision, because once its done, its done. How many have every looked back over their lives and said “I wish…I should have…I could have?” Isn’t it amazing how God rearranges our lives, though we make mistakes—He changes our whole scheme of things about our selves and our walk–so we still will do what He wants us to do. We made the wrong step, we should have gone left, but we went right. He’s already planned that if they go left, then they’ll run into this person that will jack then up, but I’ll help them through it. You have a purpose in your life to do what God says. If it will take you going through Egypt instead of going through Ohio, then guess what, you’re going through Egypt, because you don’t listen to what He says. How many have heard the term “put it on the back burner?” When you put off to do something for another day, doesn’t mean you aren’t suppose to do it. Our biggest problem is we try to go ahead of ourselves and make plans and goals. I’m not speaking negatively about planning. Planning is good, but you need to handle the things of today, for today. The Bible says tomorrow is not promised to you. So live everyday as though it were your last. Would have, should have, and could have makes matters even worse. What do you do now? You handle the things of today, sufficient for today. Get your mind right, get your heart right, get you right. Then you can build from that point on.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:30-34

No one knows what the future holds–no one. The steps of a righteous man or woman are ordered by God. What leads and guides you? The Holy Ghost, into all truth. You shouldn’t be trying to figure out what to do because God has already worked it out. A lot of time, we don’t need to see what God has planned, because we’ll try to alter what He has planned. You try to situate yourself in a better way, but the trials and test you go through now are for this now. Handle them, deal with them, work them out, get it in you, and learn from the lessons. You’re establishing your foundation for your future.

Life is like a huge puzzle. There is a big board, and there are only 2 puzzle pieces on the board. You have one puzzle piece in your hand. So you try to fit the one in your hand with the 2 on the board, and they don’t go together. Sufficient for the day is the work thereof. Every time you go through life and trials, another puzzle piece is placed in your hands, and you can slowly piece together the pieces on the board. The pieces that go on the board of life, come from experiencing and going through different aspects of life. You can’t take puzzle pieces and with a pair of scissors try to shape them on your own. You don’t know what the shape of the next pieces will be. This is where we make the mistake of trying to out think God. Trials teach you how to appreciate things, how to be satisfied, how to have love, to be strong, to which you acquire the puzzle pieces of life. But if you go out of the realms of trials and try to control what you go through in your own life, then you won’t get the pieces that will form the life for you.

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Psalm 37:23-25

Why is my life like this? I’m tired! Because you created that for yourself because you stepped out of the trial and test that would have given you the perfect structure. If you don’t appreciate something, what will you do with it? You’ll abuse it. What do you mean? Picture the proverbial guy who couldn’t afford to buy a car, spent years working hard, to get himself a car. Now when he gets his car, he misses every bump in the road, cleans it often; but if you give a car to someone who never had the opportunity to work hard to get it, how would they treat it? They would drive it erratically, and not take care of it. You have to be taught the principles in order to move on. The only way to do that is to live in the now, experience the tests and life of now in order to be what you should be, not what you want to be. If you don’t allow God to mold you, you can’t be whom you should be. He who began a good work in you, won’t stop until He’s completed it in you. If you don’t have a certain quality in you that a Child of God needs, you’ll go through many trials. He needs to work out in you a trial to get you to understand what caring, loving, and understanding are. If God needs you to understand what love is, He will take you through something like that.

The title of the puzzle is Christian Behaviour, and you’ve been given 3 puzzle pieces. The first puzzle peace you’ve been given is God, the second is His son. Now you have to walk out your Christian walk to see what it means to be a Child of God. But in the process, the world is interjecting what it is to love or care; people have many options about things; about you, where you should live, when not to talk, when to listen; People have that all broken down for you, and if their message is incomplete, then your message is incomplete.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Psalm 37:23-25

God knows what you have need of.

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

James 4:1-6

If you’re a Child of God, why ask the world for help? You’ll never get that puzzle piece up there on the board of life if you’re constantly comparing God with world. You can’t serve 2 masters—you’ll love the one and hate the other. Can you say yes and no at the same time? No! Neither can you serve two different masters. Either you serve God or serve Satan. You can’t have one foot in the Church and one in the World. The scriptures says the Lord wants us to be either hot or cold, because if we’re lukewarm, He’ll spew us out of His mouth. That is why sometimes people go to ministries that endorse wordily things, or don’t care to point out their wrongs.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? 13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

James 4:7-13

You can’t get to 100 unless you start with 1, then progress to 2, then three and so forth. Lets care about the number one thing in our lives today. This is where we start, then we can move onto the second thing, until we can reach our goal in Him, doing what He says to do, and not what we want.
