You Need to Shut the Noise up in Your Mind and Heart

Have you ever had your mind or heart so full and overwhelmed with thoughts and emotions that your heart and mind could not focus on anything else but those memories and emotions? In some situations your mind was so locked up, that you couldn’t think or even sleep and sometimes wouldn’t eat properly. A lot of us have done the “miss direct.” You know the the one where you are staring right in the direction of some person, completely zoned out until you here these words: “do I know you?” or “why are you staring at me?” How about this: has anybody ever had something bother them so much that they got into their car, started to drive and while they were driving they came to themselves wondering when they’d even gotten into the car and for what reason? What about accusing someone of something, that came from a dream?

The problem of every human being in the Church, around the Church and in the world, is that our minds and hearts are so preoccupied with things from our past, things of the present, and possibly even our future. So much so that we will not get an understanding of who we are, what we are, and where we are. We will never know where we are going.

So lets look at where we are now in life; our existence in life calculated by three things: Past, present, and future. Past+present+future = Existence. Philippians 3:13-14 says, 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

So if any one of these processes is not met, there cannot be any growth in the mental, the spiritual or the physical. Let’s give an example: Lets say that more of a past situation has gained the majority of your mind, heart or both. Then your past, from the past, has already occupied your past fully, and it also has occupied your present which means you don’t have a present now because it has become you past. Lets try to calculate that. Past+Past+Past = No Existence. To know where you’re from (Past) and to know who you are, (Present) is to know where you are headed (Future) = existence. So to be preoccupied with the things of your past and not to be aware of the present and pertinent things in your life, there will be no growth in you. That means that you will become stagnant in your life, and that will cause you to have no future.

Mark 4:19 reads, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. One of the things that the people of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ suffer with is this: they don’t know how to let the desires of this life or the world go! They’re trapped in the mindset of having their cake and eating it too, as the old adage states. However, the Word says in 1 John 2:15-17 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We must not allow anything, any mindset or anyone to confuse our heart or mind to turn us away from Jesus Christ, and if you don’t know you better ask somebody. Colossians 3:1-2 says, 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Also Isaiah 26:3-4 reads, 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. Finally, Hebrews 12:1 says, lay aside every weight that so easily beset us.

It is so!

While in a Storm, Whose Report Will You Believe Jesus or Men

In this world of misdirection of one’s own understanding, along with the controlling thoughts of others, man’s heart has turned colder and hard. People are so into themselves and have their own form of salvation. This is not according to the Word of God, but it’s according to their own form of knowledge that is derived from the hurt and pain they have endured, over the different types of emotional and irrational events in their life, or from the life of others. These kind of things in peoples lives will cause people to doubt Jesus words or even that He is who He said He is.

This type will begin to establish their own type of righteousness using an augmented form of the words of Jesus and will then will try to control others or convince them to follow their way of understanding, leading them into a from of holiness that is not from the Lord, but from their own form of ungodliness. In this world, this has become the norm for a lot of people.

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

2 Timothy 3:5-8

Why is it that out of hurt and revenge, coupled with a broken heart and trust issues, that people tend to drag others into their pain and anguish?Living that emotional event in their life over and over, thereby creating the perfect storm in their life. Storms tend to draw everything around them in to their midst. Anything that comes in contact with a storm gets destroyed as well. We all know if we are caught in someone else’s storm. You may ask yourself, “How would I know if I’m caught in somebody’s else storm?” You need to ask yourself these question:

  1. Do you find yourself upset when you’re around the thing that person doesn’t like?
  2. When you are around that individual who has a storm, are your emotions heighten?
  3. Are you a dumping ground for their disgust or are you their sounding board?
  4. Do you feel heavy and spiritual depleted after leaving them?
  5. Is their lifestyle a Godly one?
  6. Do you feel you have to repent after having been with them?
  7. Do they always find fault with real people of God?

So I’m asking all of you…who’s report do you believe? If you start believing the word of the ungodly, then their perfect storm will begin to distort your view of God’s love. You might ask, “What shall I do?”

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18

I’ll leave you with why we do what we do for Christ.

1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 53: 1-12

Matthew Chapter 15

In this chapter we see Jesus isn’t afraid to call others on things that hinder their sanctification in God, even if it is a tradition. We also see Jesus perform signs of healing and other miracles.

Jesus Breaks Religious Traditions Verses 1-20

Jesus makes known to the prominent religious groups of His time that their traditions have impeded their hearts from growing in what He says is true undefilement; Hearts that don’t have evil thoughts of murder, adulteries, fornication, theft, lying and slander are those that remain undefiled. Anyone will know what truly is in your heart by the words you speak.

A Canaanite Woman’s Faith Verses 21-28

Jesus makes it clear to the Canaanite woman that He wasn’t sent but to the lost sheep of Israel, but her faith in Him moved Jesus heart to grant her request to heal her demonized daughter.

Jesus Heals Others Verses 29-31

Jesus heals those mute, blind, deformed, and lame, and for three 3 days the crowd who experienced and saw these miracles stayed with Jesus and praised God for these wonderful works.

Jesus Feeds Thousands Verses 32-39

Jesus had such compassion on this crowd of people who had been with him for that length of time and had nothing to eat, that he decided to miraculously provide for them with only seven loaves of bread and a few fish. 4000 people were fed with 7 baskets of extra food left over!

What is the Way to Jesus Heart?

Most of us who love our Lord Yah’shua (Jesus) try in some way to get closer to Jesus or please Him in some way. However, sometimes we reach a point in our walk where we have hit a wall or come to a precipice in communicating with Him, feeling inadequate and challenged or a bit unsure about whether or not we’re going in the right way or doing the right thing in trying to please Yah’shua (Jesus). Some have tried to please His heart by going with how they feel. This is based on their emotional equilibrium and mental instability in their own personal life. We try to reach out to Christ the way we want to reach out to people, equating Him as we would a human being. But God is a Spirit and those who worship Him or communicate with Him must do so in spirit and truth. We’ve tried to reach out to Him through our personal experience with previous relationships. These relationships may have contained elements of anger hurt or pain; We base our emotions and feelings on how others receive us. We try to worship Christ in the same mindset. Sometimes it leaves us in frustration because we’re not sure if He hears us. Maybe you’re talking through pain, instead of love. We’ll look at the aspect that God is a Spirit and you must worship in spirit and truth and that is how we communicate. But I’m going through. I’m an emotional wreck. Sometimes we get very “extra,” when we talk to the Lord. Instead of just coming to one point in your life where you say, just shut up! You just go on and on and on. We want a connection with our Lord and Saviour that will be unbroken, because He is the only one who can see us in that place where no one else sees. Its usually your mind. No one else can see your mind. You know He can because you feel someone dealing with you spiritually. You ask, there must be a God.

The point is that we try to reach God without really reaching Him. We think we’ve reached Him, but we do so with the wrong number. Have you ever dialed a number that was wrong? Sometimes we do that with Christ. Who are we praying to? If we communicate with Christ, how are we communicating to Him? How do we alert Him that we want to get closer to Him? When do you call on the name of Jesus? When you don’t have money, or are sick, or when someone has taken your phone. We need to know one thing: He’s just a prayer away. Its not just a prayer away. You don’t have to pray to Him to talk to Him. Some people say we have get on our knees and talk to Him. We can talk to Him in any way, but the one thing that we don’t do is that we aren’t communicating with Him. We talk to Him, but He doesn’t communicate to you, because you’re talking to Him. You don’t pick up what their heart is because you’re talking. We dump on the Lord, we upload to Him all the junk and everything and then we feel relieved. Then we leave Him and go on, not even waiting for Him to say anything. We’re so use to social media where we upload. But the Lord doesn’t have a feed like there is on social media. When you go to the Lord, He will hear you if you are down. A lot of us will scream as though He’s can’t hear us. The point is that we try to get close to Him sometimes the right way, but its the wrong way because we used it in the past and thought it worked. We can’t talk to Him like we do our mother, brother, sister or father. Why? They don’t know you like He knows you. So come to Him real, because you can’t hide anything from Him. Be honest with Him and real with Him. Don’t come with a pretend mind, telling Him something, but secretly withholding something else.

This might be stranger then fiction. Maybe you just might be trying too hard. In prayer time, it seems like we have to be broken down, on the ground, worn out; it took you 1 hour of breathing, sweating, snotting and crying to realize that you aren’t any good. We try so hard to get people to hear us that we try doing the same thing with Christ, resulting in failure, though He heard it, but didn’t like the way He heard it. The Bible says surely we should cast our cares on Him because He cares for us. But it didn’t say we should upload to Him and never receive a download. Why do you download the latest version of a software update on your phone? So that it can function properly. So why do you keep uploading to Christ, and never receive a download so you can function properly? The problem is we upload, upload, upload and upload.

1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2. For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6:But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Hebrews 11:1-25

Enoch pleased God. Do you want to please God? The first thing you must have is, A) Faith (Hebrew 11:5-25). We ask people everyday to have faith in us. To trust us, to count on us, to love us. We ask this everyday, and Christ asks this to! To have faith in Him. He said have faith the size of a grain of a mustard seed. Just that little amount of faith. When a man and woman marry, they are asking one another to have faith in their relationship, because you are entrusting your heart to that person. You want them to have faith that they’ll give you their heart. Faith is so powerful; to have faith in what you don’t even see. Enoch had so much faith that the Lord took him, and he didn’t see death. Noah had faith that some of us would never have. If someone called you up and told you to build an ark big enough to house every animal in the world what would you do? Noah built for x number of years, even at ridicule from those around. What sort of faith should we have when the Lord tells us to trust Him? B) Obedience is also needed to please God as found Jeremiah 7:21-23. The Bible says obedience is better than sacrifice. How could you go to the Lord and tell Him how great He is and tell Him that you love Him, but don’t do what He asks? Do you want someone to be obedient to what you say to do, or do you just want them to love you? If you love them, you will be obedient to them. Most of the time we tell them we love them, but we also have to show it. The Lord says, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” We always want someone to prove to us that they do in fact love us. Christ is saying the same thing. Telling Him that we love Him and not showing Him means nothing. The next quality needed to please God is, C) Humility, as stated in James 4:6-10. We all have the issue where we can’t please ourselves let alone please God.

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

James 4:6-10

D).Love is need to please God. Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39

There is no love. The love of people has grown cold. The lack of love is the lack of faith, obedience and humility. This is why you can’t reach Christ, because if you’re missing one of these attributes, you’ll not grow closer to Christ. You say you have a lot of faith, but faith without works is dead. It all comes full circle to, “If you love Me, you’ll do what I ask.” Many say they love Him and have a personal relationship with Him but they don’t do anything for Him. Faith, obedience, humility and love are the beginnings steps to a way to the heart of Yah’shua (Jesus); to please His heart. Enoch had faith, and inside of that was love, obedience and humility.

David is a example in the book of Acts 13:22 22.) And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

How can David a murderer and adulter be a man after God’s heart? He knew how to do one thing: ask for forgiveness. He had an issue with obedience, but he worked on it. Some of us don’t even want to work on what we’re going through. Some of us are too busy. We the people of God need to make up our hearts and minds. Are we going to serve God or walk in shadows. Will we walk in the light or in shadows behind the light. The Lord loves those who diligently seek Him. Joshua tells us in Joshua 24:14-15, “Choose ye this day who you will you serve.” And it’s so obvious today that people are struggling with choosing the life in the world and a life in Christ. Others are trying to do both but Christ says you’re either hot or cold. You can’t be both or he’s going to cast you with the cold (Rev.3:15).

When you follow something make sure its the truth. The Lord is very easy. He says just be obedient and have faith in what He says and does, and have humility. Its the same thing we ask in a relationship. I want someone who is loving, humble, has faith in me and obedient. That is all the Lord wants. By you doing that you’ll draw closer to Him. You can commune.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

A Troubled Heart Leads To a Confused Walk

Have your ever been in a place, confused about why you were there or even made a decision about a thing in life and didn’t understand how you came up with that decision? How about even lost the reason why you were headed in one direction then turn around and start going back in the opposite direction? Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

The Word refers to the heart, but its actually talking about your mind. That is your existence. Brain cells are not only in the brain, but also in the heart. The brain gives your heart thought and memory on how to pump. What is inside of your heart that you can’t retain, explain, or control what goes on in your life? Why is your heart always causing you problems? Your heart isn’t any bigger than your fist. Do you allow things around you to effect your thoughts? Do you allow people to come into your life to destroy your heart? Do you allow thoughts of someone else’s misery to come in and cause you to be miserable? The heart (the mind) is deceitful. It knows to do good but won’t do it. It knows that a situation is wrong, but it goes along with the situation. A man once said, “A woman said she loved me once, then later said she didn’t.” When there’s a problem of the heart whether via emotions, hurt, sickness or even sin, you lose focus and the ability to make rational decisions or judgments. Your heart, which is your mind thinks about that and this. People have used the heart for generations to express their feelings. They notice that when they begin to fall for someone, their heart beats a little faster, being under the impression that it has an intellect of its own. However the mind tells the heart what to be. That is why people always say, “Do you have the heart for this,” or “Do you have the heart for that,” or “Are you heartfelt for those things?” all while grabbing their heart. Why do they grab their heart? Because they know if the heart stops beating so do you. If the mind dies, then you are dead, even if the heart is still pumping.

The Bible also mentions in Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” You think about this because its in you. You love money, possessions, for people to give you accolades, prestige, finances, lifestyle, big homes and cars. Why? Because that is where your heart is. For those who are the children of God, where does your heart lie? If you are someone who is attached to this world, take an evaluation of where you’re heart is. A lot of things that we care for in our hearts and minds where we conceive these thoughts sometimes open the door to Satan’s realm of sin and confusion, making you despondent, having no focus.

1 Corinthians 14:33, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” So you’re confused. What has troubled your heart that you are confused at this stage in your walk, that you don’t know where your life is going? The Bible clearly state that God is not the problem of confusion nor is he progenitor of a lie. So as we walk our walk, let’s be very careful who we let into our heart or that secret place that we share with our Lord and Savior. That is serious. We talked before about the heart of a married woman to her husband, and the heart of a single woman is the Lord. Each has to be very careful of whom they allow in their presence who would steal her heart away. Why? Its like coming between a married couple. Satan knows that if he can separate you from the source, your walk will be hard and the more stumbling you do, the farther you’ll be from your destination. Its a curious thing to realize who you are and where you are in your life now. If you are in a confused state, look back and see where the confusion has come from. From the love of a thing, something or someone, from a hurtful situation? Emotional attachment have been one of the detriments of a Child of God’s walk in his life. Who are you attaching yourself to and why? When you attach yourself to the wrong things your heart begins to fall for it and you begin to be instructed and guided by that thing. Which is not a good thing for a Child of God. You’ll notice even when you go to school, they’ll tell you in college to maintain your focus on the thing at hand. If you are focused, there is less chance for some other thing to cause confusion to come into your life. Most people allow other things to come in and invade their mind and heart. Everything was going great, everything is good, the Lord is blessing me and all of a sudden he came along and “rocked your world.” You allowed him to come into a calm sea to rough up the water. Now both of you are sitting there in a confused state and don’t know which direction to go in. But you’re trying to walk a walk, which before was progressing so much. You were excited and you wanted things from God and you saw those things happen almost instantly. But under that process, you allowed someone else to come in and trouble your heart. When your heart is troubled it is felt through your whole body. Some of you have been to the point where you were so much in love you couldn’t eat right, talk right or sleep right. That is what a troubled heart goes through when it knows that the attachment is not quite solid. Has anyone broken a cold sweat over the Lord because they couldn’t contact Him? Our hearts and minds need to know one thing: work together. Don’t allow yourself to be over confident in your relationship. Because if there is a door that can be opened through hurt pain or sin, Satan will bring it.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalms 91:1

If you allow yourself to dwell in the secret place with the Lord, your heart will not be broken, no one will steal it or even mess with it, because you’ll be under the shadow of the almighty. He will protect what you are and who you are because you are His. Its when you step out from under the shadow. When its really hot outside and the sun is shining and gleaming down on you, you run under the shade. You’ve never seen anyone run out into the sun when they’re hot. They run to the shade because they want to be under its protection so the sun rays won’t bake them. When you come from underneath the protection of the almighty God, you will be hurt, experience pain and anguish. You will suffer things like you never have before. You will begin to feel that thing affect you more than ever because you are not under the watchful eye of our Cord and Savior. Whatever affects your heart, whether a person, situation or anything along that line, you need to be very careful who comes into your presence and exude control of who and what you are.

1.) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 6.) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 11.) Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12.) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Are you doing greater works? Are you doing anything. The Bible says we’re known by the fruit we bear. What are you bearing. 13.) And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14.) If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Why is this so important. If he’s in you and your in him, your heart is in oness and you won’t ask anything unwarrented. So you know its benfitial to you and you’ve already talked it out.

John 14: 1,6, 11, 12-14

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psalms 1:1-3

Are you a tree that’s planted by the rivers of water? Are you planted in the Lord like you should be? If so, how deep are your roots? Are you surface salvation Jesus, or do you rely on hearing a sermon here or there, or are you in your Word doing it as well? He said he meditates on the law day and night? How can you do that? Don’t you need to sleep? There was a science study done sometime back where they found out that if a person plugs their ears and has a book being read to them while they sleep, the comprehension of that person is very high. During the 1980s and 1990s students would do that with professors teachings and they would remember all that was said. Your subconscious is listening to what is going on consciously. You were at rest. There was nothing there to interfere with your heart. You have to be careful because someone could put a demonic device in your ear. Whatever you let into your heart, you have to be very careful. You shouldn’t allow emotions, hurt and sickness or sin to control your heart within.
