“Putting God’s seal of approval on you Sin for an Excuse”

How many times have you said “God understands me?” What about the statement “He’s still working on me,” as to say He understands me? So its ok when we quote the word as our justifying weapon. “Christ died for me true enough, but I’m only human!” Being human does not give you the unction to continue to sin.

Romans 3:23-24

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

“We all are sinners, saved by grace,” is the statement we hear people say right after they’ve sinned. But those are just excuses to justify what they’re doing. How long does it take one not to sin? The same length of time it takes to do the sin. The reason we can’t say no to sin is because we’re so busy saying yes to the mess. Some people want to stay in their mess, because they’re at home in their mess. You ever seen pigs, out in the field, jumping up and having a good time? But as soon as they get to a mud puddle, they roll in and and make funny noises. Don’t you know you you’re in a mess? The pig looks up and says, what a mess it is. Some people like to write stores about their mess. They are enjoying their mess. God is still working on me. I’m just a new Child of God and I’m just getting use to God’s rule. I’m not talking about the world, I’m talking about saints, trying to put God’s seal of approval on their mess. How long do you stay short of His glory?

Romans 8:33-34

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he
that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

We can not go on thinking its ok to go on and sin and think Christ will just be born again through Mary and go through the entire process again. Every time you do a mess, you put Him up on the cross, and then you lie about it and try to justify it. If you are a sinner, don’t half step it. If your going to sin, go all the way.

Hebrews 10:22-27

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Do you know how to get back in the graces of God? Or are you still living in that same mess you were in before? If we willfully sin, Christ won’t get back on the cross again. The wages of sin is death. Not a physical death, but a death of the soul.

1 Peter 4:1-6

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

One must remember that Jesus dying on the cross wasn’t for us to continue in our old ways that we had in the world nor to justify our weakness in our sinful nature or revive sin that we can’t seem to get over.

1 Corinthians 6:8-11

Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

 

This not to your condemnation but to your salvation in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 3:6-8

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

In my conclusion: Know this the time is now that when you hear the Rhema in “Greek means utterance” words of truth of Jesus and those words become Zao in Greek meaning “ living or alive “ to you, then you need to live it while there is life in your body!

I’ve Been there For You, Will You be there for Me?

Have you ever been in a situation where you knew you should have died? Have you ever had that type of situation? How about when you got in a heated conversation that was going good at first then all of a sudden it went bad quickly, and it became so surreal? In that when you look at that term surreal, it means an effect, or fantasy, unreal, unearthly, strange, freakish, dreamlike. Have you ever been in a situation like that, were it was unfolding before your face, it  start going that way fast and you couldn’t stop it? Then all of a sudden the Lord steps in and you don’t know it, but the situation changes, the atmosphere changes. Things started to calm down and goes back to a normal state. Have you ever been in a situation like that, which blew your mind? You know it should have gone somewhere else? At the end you looked at one another and said “Whoa, what just happened?” The Lord had to step in and squash yours and their temper, because Satan already threw his hand in and caused it to go out of wack. When it was all over, it seemed so surreal, unearthly.

Jesus has been intervening in our lives when we ask, for a long time. But we just equated it something normal, coincidence. There has always been something like that which has happened in our life, and you blow it off and make it seem lesser. Everyone around gets in trouble and you walk away unscathed. Have you ever been in that situation? Since Christ has been standing up for you and been there for you, can you do that for Him? Can you say in your heart, mind, and thoughts, with the different situations that have happened in your life, when He asks you, can you stand for Me, when everyone around you can’t or wont? Can you allow Jesus to work through you what he will for the time or the situation? Can you allow that? Do you remember when I was with you, when the circumstances seemed uncanny? Those moments that were close. Diving down the road, doing things, and all of a sudden a car comes another way in a split second where we know that we should have hit it.

The Lord loves His people. When you have a purpose in Christ, He makes sure that your life is different even when you don’t think it is. Everyone who comes around your life is blessed, and they don’t realize its the presence of God. Even you don’t know what blessings are bestowed upon you. The light Jesus is trying to shine through you, its not for the benefit of you, but others to see Christ in and through you. You don’t have a light. Its not you that He wants to shine, its Him that He wants to shine through you. Men will see you and give Him the glory. He’s been with you since you were a little child. Satan wants to destroy that in you so that he can win over God’s will for you. I say this to my daughter every time I see her “when you were a little child, you use to walk around the house, arms raised giving glory to God.” But Satan sifted your life, bringing people around you whose spirit was negative to defeat your walk, and defeat you even finding out who He is.” My daughter’s Grandmother always wanted to grab her and pull her to herself, and when my daughter would go to bed, she would lay down with her. But what is wrong with that, she was only her Grandmother? Satan will use whomever he will use. have you ever heard the phrase “transference of spirits?” That spirit will get on you because of touch or proximity. Satan brings people back from your past, and they are eager to hug you to be alone with you. Have you ever noticed when you leave an old friend who you always had problem with you feel like something had lifted, right? but when they came back in your life you felt very heavy and burden. My daughter had that spirit transfer onto her. She would start throwing tantrums, and quick to get a attitude about anything when she never had a tantrum before. She took on the ways and attitude of her grandmother, who had an attitude with people who wouldn’t do what she wanted them to do and she would curse them out. Transference of spirits its real people, It doesn’t matter if they’re family or friends. That negative spirit was transferred to my daughter, so what ever evil spirit is upon a person its will be transferred to the other person then they will begin take on that person mindset and attitude of the evil spirit have.

People rarely transfer positive things in your life, but they will tell you negative things in the form of gossips and that just jump off there lips to you. Have you ever found yourself walking into a situation, and coming out acting like it was your situation? Well you try to blow it off and say that it just who you are trying to take ownership of it, when you never behaved that way before until after that situation. No it isn’t you, its that situation that you just came out of. Satan is not trying to possess you, he wants to delay you. for example: What would happen to if you got to a train, or bus, or plane late? It would leave without you, right? Some people come into your life to delay your growth or walk in life, because they are under a evil or demonic influence that has delayed them. That is why your walk is a selfish walk. At the final judgment Who has to stand before Christ for you, you or the people who influenced you? You have to be concerned about you. But if your brother, sister in Christ Jesus is trying to get up, help them as best you can. But when their struggles has become a part of your struggles in life, you have to know when to cut bait, and run, in other word let there struggle go. Its not an easy thing to choose Jesus over family. but even in bible; Matt 10:37, luke 14:26 it reads, that you can’t love you mother, father, sister, brother, more than Him. Because they will cause you to turn away from Him. They know him or love him, and out of your love them you’ll wind up not loving Me base up on there will and understanding then you’ll wind up walking way from Me. Its a terrible things to look back over your life and say, what could have or what should happen if I had done this or that. Satan will bring back to your mind these type of though to condemn you, he will say thing s like, “You were doing good, You were on fire for Christ, you were in his will Now look at you now “! An for us human  we don’t want to be single out or accused and the finger is being pointed at us.

In this day and age the biggest problem in the world, is worrying about what other people will say or is say about you!. Why do we spend hours in front of a mirror doing our hair or putting our clothes on and …etc.? Even when you have your day off, you don’t stay in front of the mirror the same way. Why? Because you don’t really care about all that and you don’t have to pretend anymore, you can just be real. That mindset leaves you after you get a certain age. We’re so concerned about what people say about us that we put the fake smile on, when we feel rotten inside. If your life is so wrapped up in that type of mindset, you can never serve God fully. We need to be more concerned about our souls, because the outer appearance fades. But will your love for Christ fade? Does you salvation depend on how your outer appearance is?

Hebrews 13:1-9

Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

The Lord sends angels down to check up on us. Hebrew 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Mr. or Ms.  just got a brand new car, I need a brand new as well. Mr. and Mrs. just got a brand new house, I need that too. Mr. or Ms. just got a brand new cloths and shoes, I need that. Don’t talk about things that meet your vanity, your conversation should never be about that. What is content? Satisfied. When you’re satisfied with something are you concerned about someone else’s stuff? Oh Lord, they just got the latest MacBook Pro. If you’d never seen them, would you want a Mackbook Pro? Be content. Lord I don’t have what other people have, nor do I own what other people own. What is that saying? Doesn’t your Father know what you have need of? A lot of times we talk to the Lord like we’re ignorant. Lord I don’t have! You don’t have it because you don’t need it. We need to be content. Lord they’re going out and witnessing to 1000 people a day, I only witness to one person, be content its not the number he is looking for you might witness to over a 1000 people, and out of that 1000 only 2 people come to know Jesus, its about letting the word of Jesus be heard so that Christ sheep will hear his voice but a stranger want follow john10:1-27 .

When God tells you something today, will it be the same tomorrow? We think Jesus is like us. We change our minds everyday. But God is not like that. If He told you something in the Word, He won’t change it Malachi 3:6. If He did, He would be inconsistent. If the Word says today you shall not steal or lie, it won’t change tomorrow.

Philippians 4:4-8

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Even when there is disagreement between two people, you can agree to disagree. Then you move on and leave it alone. Kind words turns away wrath. Don’t sit there and fuss with someone. They don’t know, but Satan is using them to jack you up. People are not going to agree with everything you decide to do in your life. Why? They don’t know where they’re going, and they don’t want you to get yours before they get theirs. The Lord is telling you to walk on because its you that has to give an account of your life, not them. People don’t care about you. A lot of times people get jealous because you’re not riding along with them. When someone jumps out in front like they know where they’re going, then the others want to slow them down. This is how people react when you’re growing and they’re not. You don’t have time to worry about someone else problem. Because its someone else’s problem let them work and walk it out.

In conclusion, read Deuteronomy 31:1-6

And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel. And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the Lord hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan. The Lord thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the Lord hath said. And the Lord shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed. And the Lord shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you. Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

I’ve been there for you will you be there for Me? When you’re around others what manor or conversation do you have? When you’re in confrontation, how is your attitude in that? What is the result after that situation? Can you walk away with a good heart, and no angry feelings? Are the results to the point where God will be happy?

Don’t allow someones sinful nature to destroy your soul. People who are governed by sin or flesh, they want to bind you with their mess so that you can’t do the will of God in your walk!.

Did You Ever Grow Up?

1 Corinthians 13:11-12

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

I was thinking about when I was child, I did some crazy things. Did you ever tempt fate? Tempt life and death? When you look back when you were in your teens and preteens; the peer group pressure? Do you remember things like selfishness; lies? It was easy to tell a lie when you were young, but you really didn’t know what a lie was. You remember being a thief? “Don’t mess with those cookies…don’t mess with this…” Your siblings told you “don’t bother that…don’t take it.” Though that seems small, its still thievery. I was with a company that I was a contractor at, and I was told I could go into the office supply cabinet. I looked in there and it was as though I made it to mecca! I had a pen fetish and they had all types of lead, ballpoint, felt tip point, roller ball point; All sorts of erasers, those like putty, the big white ones, the big brown ones. Post it notes, tape…they had all the goodies. Colored paper clips…you never know how bad you need a paper clip until you need it. I was told I could get whatever I needed. I got every pen and eraser that I could get…and it wasn’t going anywhere but back to my desk. I was doing work with them, but some of them never stayed at my desk, but went home, and rested there. Now because it didn’t come from management and came from one of the engineers on the floor, it wasn’t for me to take, but I took and took and took again. I don’t know if there is such a word as nice stealing, but I stole, often. I was justifying everything…taking 4 bottles of whiteout, just in case I may need it. But I was a thief.

How about cheating? Do you remember anger? How about faithlessness? As a teenager, we told other teenagers “are you going to be faithful,” yet we weren’t even faithful. We tell them “don’t cheat on that test,” yet we cheat on that test.

Lets look at our childhood. Have you ever been selfish in your childhood? You know there use to be a truck that came around and the driver was Mr. Liberty. He had popsicles, iced cold bazooka bubble gum, fudge sickles, freeze pops, eskimo pies, the ice cream bars with chocolate on the outside, and the neapolitan ice cream…He always carried the right stuff for the kids in the neighborhood. He came at the right time, and when he rang that bell, every kid on that street came running, hopping and skipping beside the truck. He tried to satisfy every child and teach us about our money too. We had a wonderful time waiting for him to come, and we use to promise each other that we’d help the kid who didn’t have money and get them something. But when that time came up, we didn’t want to share, even when you ate some of another kids iced cream before. Then you would order knowing you had no money, then you felt angry, disenchanted; let down because you couldn’t get the thing you wanted.

Do you remember something you took from your sibling or friend and never gave it back? Did you know that you can’t steal someone from another person? You saw one teen with a girl you wanted. So you went about trying to steal the girl from him? This happened to me. Pains and trials and let downs that I didn’t even know were there. Kids being talked about, being made fun of. Teenagers. Wanting to be accepted. “You don’t dress right. We don’t like you. You belong with the misfits.” The things was is the misfits were all straight A’s. These memories are still with me today. Sometimes memories are still there, but attached to those memories are a growth that you never grew beyond. What about when things didn’t go your way? Were you angry with the person, the situation or with yourself? What about when you didn’t get chosen to do a particular task? Some of us want to be chosen, others of us don’t because we don’t want to be called a teachers pet. You remember when your sibling or friend told a lie to your mom or dad? Think about those moments? Do we ever see some of the remnants of our past childhood come up in our life now…how we walk in Christ, how we choose our friends, how we do business? Yes we do. The Word of God says when I was a child, I thought as a child, spoke as a child…Some of the things we do today are still from our past as a child. Did our bodies grow up and our minds stay the same? What does it mean to become a man? Not looking at things from a child’s point of view, but looking sensibly and reasonably. I don’t need to smack you back because you smacked me. We need to realize one thing. We need to grow up.

You wonder why God can’t use us? Because we haven’t grown up. He can’t give a responsibility to someone who is still doing the same old childish things. Think about it. If a person still hasn’t grown up past the mindset of having a playful type mentality all the time, would you entrust them to manage your money? Would you entrust them to handle your business? Think about it. Just relate that with God. Will the Lord entrust you to deliver His word to a person who’s soul is aching, who’s heart is hurting if your still in a child’s mentality? We have a lot of immature Christians out there. Some of them have come into the understanding of what the being clear picture is about. But they begin to play around, and take it lightly. They don’t look at others pain, anguish or hurt, but they say rather it is kind of funny the way they look. When you were a child, some of the things you did carried over into your adulthood. If you grew up liking toy race cars, maybe you became a race car driver. You ever wonder what your life would have been like had you not chosen your profession? What would you have done, accomplished, succeeded in? Would I have known who Jesus is? Would I be in this state or this country? What would I have done?

A lot of times our faith or the lack of faith is due to something that is lingering over into our childhood, linger into our adulthood. We had faith in someone; they failed, so we saw that faith didn’t work, or we have less faith. It causes you to have a misunderstanding of faith. Lack of faith is usually equated to having an emotion disillusion. You have a relationship with someone and you know it would last, but they pull out for some reason. But they told you they had faith in the relationship, then that lessens your idea of faith. The delusion of it all is because of the attachment you had on others wasn’t strong enough to maintain the bond, your faith lessens. You ask, “what came out of me that caused their walking faith not to be strong? Did I cause them not to be faithful? Did they see a lack of faith in me so they became unfaithful to us?” Then you begin to test that faith on them and say “I will try this one more time.” Then when they do it again, you don’t trust them at all.

What does mature mean? Its being able to let things go that don’t make sense. Mature comes in when you’re able to look at something circumspectly, weigh it, not just accept it, but know the consequence behind it. Whereas a person who is younger will jump right in and do it and find out later that it was bad. Maturity will say I’m 72 years old, I don’t need to have a car note. Maturity makes sense. I’m not working anymore, why would I go and make a big bill? You can’t live off someone else. You say you did when you were younger, and think you can do it today. Making the same old mistakes you did when you were younger. “He’s cute, got nice hair and muscles. So he must have a brain.” That is the same thing you did when you were younger. You weren’t looking for intelligence, you were looking for looks. You still live the life of a teen and here you’re 62. You still turn out to be a teen and your 50, making the same old stupid mistakes you made when you were younger. When it says I let go of childish things…the way you talked and acted. You can’t do the same things you use to do when you were younger. You should have some wisdom. Have you grown up yet? Its not the shape or the color of the product. Its whats in there that matters. You don’t want a man who will be candy on your arms. You want someone who will enhance you and teach you something. Whatever God gives you, trust Him.

Don’t let the ways of your past control your future. Don’t make the same stupid mistakes; being giddy making your choices in life. Start looking at thing a bit more seriously.

Your Good Just Might Not be Good Enough

As people of God we want so much of God but we do and give so little for Him. Do you really know Him? Or maybe I should say do you really want to know Him?

Proverbs 21:2, 14:12, 16:25
Galatians 6:7-9, 1 Kings 18:21, Matthew 7:20-24

There’s a saying… “a little knowledge makes a person dangerous.” When most people gain a little knowledge about the Bible they believe that they are a Christian authority and their understanding is somewhat absolute even though they may not want to admit it. They fill that their understanding of the Bible gives them the right to speak for all
Christians, and from that they begin in corporate their own personal belief system into what ever the biblical topic being discuss is, according to the way they feel concerning what the Word of God is saying. They will begin to impose their understanding on everybody and thing. And a lot of times, this leads to a new belief system that contradicts the Bible all the time. Then that belief doctrine will begin to become infectious and nine time’s out of ten because there may be some kind of relationship or emotional attachment involved that people will begin to equate
this as being true words of Jesus.

People usually will follow after someone they care about when it comes to listening to the Word of Jesus instead of only listening to the the Word of Jesus Christ as to not hurt others feelings.

Proverbs 21:2
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.

 

The word Ponder means ‘to think.”

Isaiah 5:18-23
Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope: That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

For those who think they know Jesus will begin to justify what they do in His name with a surety! It’s the people who tend to believe they know what a Christian is supposed to be like, but never had a relationship with Jesus. They don’t love Him, they really only heard of Him have a lot of mouth service all because they read the Bible like a book as in a fairy tale and only to be taken as such. Not as the true inspirational words from Jesus and the only way to know this is to travel down the road of salvation, to find out first who Jesus is and what He means to world and personally to you.
