Judge Not

Matthew 7:1-2

Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Key word is judge. In this life we’re consonantly judging our situations, our families, friends and jobs. Being a judge, if you look at that word, it implicates to condemn, punish, avenge, conclude, damn, decree, determine; the Greek word for Judge is: kree’-no which means to decide. When you look at the triune structure of man, we tend to judge from our soul, not from the Spirit of God inside. Our souls contain our imagination, conscience, memory, affections, and reason. When we make a determination about a situation, or in other words judge, we’re not basing our judgement on facts, were basing our judgement on what our soul says or psyche. So, if we have preconceived notions about a thing, person, or situation, then we’re going to make a judgement call based on our experience with that situation we’ve encountered in the past. So to make a fair and Godly type judgement, we need to allow the spirit that God has placed in every human being be the deciding factor in our decision making. I advise you if you don’t know to go to the resources, under articles, and look up the Triune Structure of Man, and use that as your footnote for Matthew 7. It explains to you how man perceives his world around him.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

When you make a judgement and don’t have the right decision making structure, when the judgement is made and wrong because you don’t have the information, the Word is saying that that same judgement will be placed on your head. Whatever results come from that judgement being made it shall be also placed upon you. Some people like to say that the Lord says we will judge the world (1 Corinthians 6:2). Yes when He comes back because you’ll have already been worth to judge the world. As long as we have a fleshly nature, and our souls are the determining factors for judging other or a situation, we will not come up with a righteous judgement. That is why the Word of God tells us not to judge, because when we do, we have issues going on with ourselves. There is a saying I heard my family say: “The pot can’t call the kettle black, when they’re both black.” You can’t find problems with me because you have your own. What makes you think you can decide judgement over me when you have issues? The fact of the matter remains is this: as it says in the Word of God, judge not.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

You making a determination about someone else’s sin and your the biggest sinner in there. You nit pick over someone else life, about the little things you think are important to you because it effects you and low and behold, you’re jacked up. God does not want us to go around and find fault with people concerning their walk, their talk, and concerning their views on life.

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

You sit there and judge a person to the untimpth degree, and judge in their life what you perceive, according to your understanding, but after you make that determination that this person is guilty based on your understanding, then you see yourself as being a righteous judge, and begin to pronounce punishment for the judgment. A lot of times people them to point their fingers at other people to hid their own sin so no one will notice them, so they won’t be found out. So the innocent will be crucified and judged. And what innocent person in the Bible was judged and accused wrongly?  Our Lord and Savior Jesus, wrongly accused, lied upon then the sentence of death placed upon His head. Have you crucified someone lately and the sentence was placed on their head, all because of what you said, your testimony? Have you placed someones life in jeopardy because of a lie you told in your judgment of a situation, thereby leading them to be wrongly accused. If so, then you need to cross examine your intentions. You need to begin to judge yourself, and if you find yourself guilty, do you want that same punishment placed upon your head?

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Would you want to get the same judgment you passed on another? That’s the situation judgment. What Judgement? So why would you pronounce the sentence of death on someone because you don’t like what they stand for, or because you don’t like what they look like, or you don’t like that they have more than what you have. I tell you jealousy, envy has cause a lot of false judgment in this world today, and in the House of God. You have son against father, father against son, mother against daughter, and daughter against mother, saint and saint, pastors against pastors, bishops against pastors, bishops against pastors and pastors against bishops, all because of jealousy and envy. If both of you believe in God, how long halt you between two opinions. If God be God serve Him. But I dare you having an ought against your brother or sister, and you allow it to harm your brother or sister. A lot of us have killed and destroyed our bothers and sisters and ministries all because of a lie, envy, jealousy. What about husbands and wives? Sometimes, husbands get jealous of the wife because she is more popular than he is, and vice versa. A lot of times wife’s get jealous of husbands because they have more charisma, people look up to them more than they do their spouse, causing division in the house. Satan doesn’t care who you are, what you are, if he can get you to judge brother, sister, husband or wife, and it destroys that union, he’s won. So, I ask you in closing, have you judged someone today? The word of God tells us that, if you have an ought against your brother or sister, go to them get it straight. If they won’t hear you than take a witness with you. And if they don’t hear you, bring them up before the Pastor of the Church, so that things can be resolved, because Satan only comes to kill, steal, and destroy relationships, ministries, and anything God has ordained to be establish on this earth.

Being of Oneness Mind and Heart

Philippians 2:1-2

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded,

That is a strong statement because in this day and age, all these different fellowships and ministries out there are not being likeminded. A lot of them are perpetuating a fraud. They are teaching only how to be one up on their fellow brothers. They are not teaching the same word, they are teaching about power, money, and bigger ministries.

Philippians 2:2-3

having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

This is the problem because when you are trying to get one up on another ministry so you look better than another ministry or “the one,” you tend to walk over other ministries. You tend to attack other ministries. And to let you know up front this is not the love of God and not what he intended for the body of baptized believers. He wants you to support your brother of lesser finance of help. He wants you to look on your brothers and help them so that they won’t have lack. But if you know of a ministry who is struggling along, but still reaching out and trying to touch the heart of the people in this world and know that they are in financial devastation or in need of spiritual help, how dwells the love of God in you? How does it correlate with Philippians 2: 1-2?

Philippians 2:3

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

It’s not about you. God gave us a ministry to help our brothers and sisters first and then to help the world who are in need and crying out for help and for us to show God’s love toward them. But in this day and age, everyone seems to be promoting one another, taking them to another level of leadership. They haven’t even begun to go out into the high ways and hedges and compel those come into the house. God is not about that.

Philippians 2:4

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

In other words, don’t be selfish. Ministries today are looking more on how to please their ministry than to help fellow ministries. They only can see themselves, selfishly.

Philippians 2:5

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

That is about supporting your fellow ministry, your brethren and sister in ministry.

1 Corinthians 1:10-11

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.  For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

It talks about we who are of one mind should address the things of God. The Lord keeps saying over and over, be you of one mind.

Romans 12:1-5

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

The problem is someone is thinking more of their brothers because they have a lot of members, finances, a location. So they look down on their brothers and mistreat, find problems, quickly find that their brother is not adequate in the Word. This is the heart of these individuals. Not realizing the world of God tells you to be careful Matthew 7, judge not that you be not judged. You begin to kill your brother, assassinate him slowly so that his ministry will not get out of the rut it was in. The Bible says if you see your brother standing in need and you shut up your bowels of compassion toward him, how dwell the love of God in you? Its a terrible thing to look down on your brother, and count how long he’s been in ministry and say maybe he shouldn’t be in ministry. What you’re saying is God made a mistake. You stand in a very dangerous place because all that you have God will take away and you will be as the pauper on the street all because of what came from your mouth spreading gossip.

Romans 12:5

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Christ has been trying to get this message across for countless generations. It tells us that we should have the same mind, walk the same talk the same, renew our minds so that when people see one of us they will see Christ. Christ is not confused and not misdirected. He wants us to be Him down on this Earth because the only Christ that He will see in this day and age are his people. So if His people are talking about one another assassinating one another, they are not going to come to Christ because they see this is the same thing that goes on in the world. We’re supposed to be helpers one to another, and not a helper with your own ulterior motive or agenda underneath. It is not about promotion, it’s about dedication and devotion. Like the world of God said:

Philippians 2:5

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Time to Let Go and Let God Step In

James 1:14-15

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

In this world we have nothing but a lot of violence, hurting, pain…all due to the lack of love. If you’ll recall from a previous teaching, it is also due to PMS (Power, Money, Sex). There are a lot of loveless people today. People aren’t concerned about their fellow man. Everyone is looking for something to believe in and count on; someone or something to depend upon. Thats why we get married, build friendships, get jobs, and get involved with people. We don’t want to be alone.

Galatians 5:19-21

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

At the top of the list, you’ll notice that adultery and fornication are mentioned first. This is a strong hold that Satan has over most people today. We use the act of fornicating as a expression of love, when it is just a temporary emotional high, the same effect as drugs. When we attach our love to this type of act,  we get emotionally attached to who ever is providing that act, and look at that person as someone they are really in love with, when that person is only a one night stand of lust. It was just a moment of sexual and emotional pleasure that was enjoyed between two people, and not a permanent situation. That is were we go wrong. We think the act of sexual intercourse or you giving your body to that person means they owe you their commitment. God designed us to be into a single not multiple partner committed relationship that is between a man and a woman under marriage for life. Uncleanliness is a big cause of diseases in this world today, this is why everybody needs to practice good hygiene. Lasciviousness indicates a strong lustful interest that will lead to fornication and adultery. Adultery can also be committed against God, by whoring after other gods. The Father only asks one thing of you: that you have a pure unadulterated love for Him, with no strings attached.

God does not want us to have things in our lives that will cause separation from Him. As long as we are Children of God, then the desires that we have should please Him first, before it pleases us. Satan will come after you with the desire you want, and even though you may try not to given in, you usually will fall for it. He’ll come at you with something he knows will destroy you.

Proverbs 14:12

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Because of the misinterpreted and misdirected love in this world, the real meaning of love has been lost in so many people. The reason why relationships fail is due to the lack of understanding of what love is, and how love is used. The dictionary has a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that range from interpersonal affection to pleasure to define the word love. It can refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment. In the Bible, love is the high esteem that God has for His creation and in turn is what the creation should have for Him.

God is love as the bible declares:

1 John 4:8-21
(Verese 8) He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is Love.

1 John 4:9-12,18
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

In Greek, the word love has two distinct meanings.  “To love” the first “phileo” means “to have (ardent) enthusiastic or passionate affection and feeling” – a type of impulsive love. The other is agapao means “to esteem or have high regard.” The word love is used 3 different way in the Bible:
1) Indicates the nature of the love of God toward his Son (John 17:26).
2) Love conveys God’s will to His children and how they are to be toward each other (John 13:34, 35).
3) Love that expresses the essential nature of God (John 4:8).

In conclusion, take this scripture in the book of  Matthew 11:28-30:
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
