Wasting Your Life and Time Will Leave You in a Confused State of Mind

Here we are again Saints, caught in the midst of our time consuming and confusing selfish lives. Not so much as loving each other, but loving the world and pleasing people of this life over the people of Jesus Christ, who are our brothers and sisters in Christ. Some saints, and I’m not pointing at anyone in particular, stick closer to the worldly lifestyle along with individuals who are involved with the worldly lifestyle, loving it, thinking it’s ok in Christ’s eyes. In some cases, they even treat their brothers and sisters in Christ with a negative and jealous emotion just as the world does the Saints.

Most people in the Church spend their time trying to reach the same goals in life as the world sees fit, trying to please the mind and heart of society. But only to slowly be subdued into a false sense of security about this world and what it has to offer them while they’re being ever slowly drawn away from the Word of God and His will for their lives in Him.

1 Peter 4:1-12 says: 1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 6 For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. 7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

All of us must understand that Satan that Devil of deception, is trying to delay you from reaching and completing the will that Jesus Christ has for your life upon this Earth.

John 14:15 says: 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21 says: 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:23-24 says: 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

People of God who know Him and those who still don’t know Him, we don’t have much more time. Some of you may die at anytime so don’t say I’m not ready yet.

Ephesians 5:15-16 says: 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. In the Bible reads this And whatever ye do , do it heartily, as to the lord, and not to men.

In My conclusion: In the book of Hebrews 3:12-15 it reads: 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

In Jesus name, it is so!

Are You a Surface Person, Living Selfishly

In this world today, people are pampering the weakness in their life instead of pursuing Christ. In these last days the men, women, and children will become selfish and disobedient, heady, lovers of unnatural affections for the opposite sex and warmongers.

The narrative of this planet reads like a sci-fi novel with a horrible end where everybody dies. The heart of man has waxed worse and is full of self-indulgence of the flesh.

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3:1-7

The seventh verse of this chapter sums up this day and age. Man is always in search of new things, be it of the human body or technologically in the field of electronics or exploring deep space. Man is forever trying to find out how our Creator made things, but never what man’s purpose is or how to live according to God’s will and with their fellow man. The people of this age seem to have but one thing on their mind, and that is a life of self-indulgence. What’s even worse is that this way of thinking has found a home in the House of God where the lust of the mind has become common place among the so called Saints of the Lord. They’re backstabbing each other, down playing the significance of each other’s ministries, lording over God’s people, doing and saying all types of evil in their presence, and jockeying for positions of authority among the people of God. In this generation, we call that kissing up to the head; sometimes doing whatever it takes to get a leader to validate that they are somebody; somebody to listen to in Christendom so they can gain fame and a bank full of dead hypocrites, at the cost of destroying their brothers and sisters in Christ.

1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? 13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

James 4:1-17

So as you can see this world and the Church has slipped into a mind of selfishness and flesh with no regard for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his crucifixion an resurrection. In my conclusion, remember this: if you didn’t get anything else we talked about, in this life, its not about you, its about Jesus Christ and His will for your life. In Jesus name, it is so!

I’ve Been there For You, Will You be there for Me?

Have you ever been in a situation where you knew you should have died? Have you ever had that type of situation? How about when you got in a heated conversation that was going good at first then all of a sudden it went bad quickly, and it became so surreal? In that when you look at that term surreal, it means an effect, or fantasy, unreal, unearthly, strange, freakish, dreamlike. Have you ever been in a situation like that, were it was unfolding before your face, it  start going that way fast and you couldn’t stop it? Then all of a sudden the Lord steps in and you don’t know it, but the situation changes, the atmosphere changes. Things started to calm down and goes back to a normal state. Have you ever been in a situation like that, which blew your mind? You know it should have gone somewhere else? At the end you looked at one another and said “Whoa, what just happened?” The Lord had to step in and squash yours and their temper, because Satan already threw his hand in and caused it to go out of wack. When it was all over, it seemed so surreal, unearthly.

Jesus has been intervening in our lives when we ask, for a long time. But we just equated it something normal, coincidence. There has always been something like that which has happened in our life, and you blow it off and make it seem lesser. Everyone around gets in trouble and you walk away unscathed. Have you ever been in that situation? Since Christ has been standing up for you and been there for you, can you do that for Him? Can you say in your heart, mind, and thoughts, with the different situations that have happened in your life, when He asks you, can you stand for Me, when everyone around you can’t or wont? Can you allow Jesus to work through you what he will for the time or the situation? Can you allow that? Do you remember when I was with you, when the circumstances seemed uncanny? Those moments that were close. Diving down the road, doing things, and all of a sudden a car comes another way in a split second where we know that we should have hit it.

The Lord loves His people. When you have a purpose in Christ, He makes sure that your life is different even when you don’t think it is. Everyone who comes around your life is blessed, and they don’t realize its the presence of God. Even you don’t know what blessings are bestowed upon you. The light Jesus is trying to shine through you, its not for the benefit of you, but others to see Christ in and through you. You don’t have a light. Its not you that He wants to shine, its Him that He wants to shine through you. Men will see you and give Him the glory. He’s been with you since you were a little child. Satan wants to destroy that in you so that he can win over God’s will for you. I say this to my daughter every time I see her “when you were a little child, you use to walk around the house, arms raised giving glory to God.” But Satan sifted your life, bringing people around you whose spirit was negative to defeat your walk, and defeat you even finding out who He is.” My daughter’s Grandmother always wanted to grab her and pull her to herself, and when my daughter would go to bed, she would lay down with her. But what is wrong with that, she was only her Grandmother? Satan will use whomever he will use. have you ever heard the phrase “transference of spirits?” That spirit will get on you because of touch or proximity. Satan brings people back from your past, and they are eager to hug you to be alone with you. Have you ever noticed when you leave an old friend who you always had problem with you feel like something had lifted, right? but when they came back in your life you felt very heavy and burden. My daughter had that spirit transfer onto her. She would start throwing tantrums, and quick to get a attitude about anything when she never had a tantrum before. She took on the ways and attitude of her grandmother, who had an attitude with people who wouldn’t do what she wanted them to do and she would curse them out. Transference of spirits its real people, It doesn’t matter if they’re family or friends. That negative spirit was transferred to my daughter, so what ever evil spirit is upon a person its will be transferred to the other person then they will begin take on that person mindset and attitude of the evil spirit have.

People rarely transfer positive things in your life, but they will tell you negative things in the form of gossips and that just jump off there lips to you. Have you ever found yourself walking into a situation, and coming out acting like it was your situation? Well you try to blow it off and say that it just who you are trying to take ownership of it, when you never behaved that way before until after that situation. No it isn’t you, its that situation that you just came out of. Satan is not trying to possess you, he wants to delay you. for example: What would happen to if you got to a train, or bus, or plane late? It would leave without you, right? Some people come into your life to delay your growth or walk in life, because they are under a evil or demonic influence that has delayed them. That is why your walk is a selfish walk. At the final judgment Who has to stand before Christ for you, you or the people who influenced you? You have to be concerned about you. But if your brother, sister in Christ Jesus is trying to get up, help them as best you can. But when their struggles has become a part of your struggles in life, you have to know when to cut bait, and run, in other word let there struggle go. Its not an easy thing to choose Jesus over family. but even in bible; Matt 10:37, luke 14:26 it reads, that you can’t love you mother, father, sister, brother, more than Him. Because they will cause you to turn away from Him. They know him or love him, and out of your love them you’ll wind up not loving Me base up on there will and understanding then you’ll wind up walking way from Me. Its a terrible things to look back over your life and say, what could have or what should happen if I had done this or that. Satan will bring back to your mind these type of though to condemn you, he will say thing s like, “You were doing good, You were on fire for Christ, you were in his will Now look at you now “! An for us human  we don’t want to be single out or accused and the finger is being pointed at us.

In this day and age the biggest problem in the world, is worrying about what other people will say or is say about you!. Why do we spend hours in front of a mirror doing our hair or putting our clothes on and …etc.? Even when you have your day off, you don’t stay in front of the mirror the same way. Why? Because you don’t really care about all that and you don’t have to pretend anymore, you can just be real. That mindset leaves you after you get a certain age. We’re so concerned about what people say about us that we put the fake smile on, when we feel rotten inside. If your life is so wrapped up in that type of mindset, you can never serve God fully. We need to be more concerned about our souls, because the outer appearance fades. But will your love for Christ fade? Does you salvation depend on how your outer appearance is?

Hebrews 13:1-9

Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

The Lord sends angels down to check up on us. Hebrew 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Mr. or Ms.  just got a brand new car, I need a brand new as well. Mr. and Mrs. just got a brand new house, I need that too. Mr. or Ms. just got a brand new cloths and shoes, I need that. Don’t talk about things that meet your vanity, your conversation should never be about that. What is content? Satisfied. When you’re satisfied with something are you concerned about someone else’s stuff? Oh Lord, they just got the latest MacBook Pro. If you’d never seen them, would you want a Mackbook Pro? Be content. Lord I don’t have what other people have, nor do I own what other people own. What is that saying? Doesn’t your Father know what you have need of? A lot of times we talk to the Lord like we’re ignorant. Lord I don’t have! You don’t have it because you don’t need it. We need to be content. Lord they’re going out and witnessing to 1000 people a day, I only witness to one person, be content its not the number he is looking for you might witness to over a 1000 people, and out of that 1000 only 2 people come to know Jesus, its about letting the word of Jesus be heard so that Christ sheep will hear his voice but a stranger want follow john10:1-27 .

When God tells you something today, will it be the same tomorrow? We think Jesus is like us. We change our minds everyday. But God is not like that. If He told you something in the Word, He won’t change it Malachi 3:6. If He did, He would be inconsistent. If the Word says today you shall not steal or lie, it won’t change tomorrow.

Philippians 4:4-8

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Even when there is disagreement between two people, you can agree to disagree. Then you move on and leave it alone. Kind words turns away wrath. Don’t sit there and fuss with someone. They don’t know, but Satan is using them to jack you up. People are not going to agree with everything you decide to do in your life. Why? They don’t know where they’re going, and they don’t want you to get yours before they get theirs. The Lord is telling you to walk on because its you that has to give an account of your life, not them. People don’t care about you. A lot of times people get jealous because you’re not riding along with them. When someone jumps out in front like they know where they’re going, then the others want to slow them down. This is how people react when you’re growing and they’re not. You don’t have time to worry about someone else problem. Because its someone else’s problem let them work and walk it out.

In conclusion, read Deuteronomy 31:1-6

And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel. And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the Lord hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan. The Lord thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the Lord hath said. And the Lord shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed. And the Lord shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you. Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

I’ve been there for you will you be there for Me? When you’re around others what manor or conversation do you have? When you’re in confrontation, how is your attitude in that? What is the result after that situation? Can you walk away with a good heart, and no angry feelings? Are the results to the point where God will be happy?

Don’t allow someones sinful nature to destroy your soul. People who are governed by sin or flesh, they want to bind you with their mess so that you can’t do the will of God in your walk!.

Warring Against the Mess in the Flesh

How many times have you started out doing what was the right thing to do but it turned out worse? You started out with a good intention. Did you know that good intentions are not good enough? We try to do things that our Lord would be happy and pleased over. In dealing with life itself you must understand that the first word that you see in the word “intention,” is intent. The word intent is starting something, but not completing that thing. For example, he did have intentions to save money, but he never held on to any money. She intended getting a good job in her field, but never took the time to search out her field. There needs to be some action behind the intentions. I have intentions to go get food, but if I don’t cough up money to get the food, I won’t get it. With intentions there is always a presence of a struggle with you or some opposing factor in your life that causes you not to fulfill the intention. Good intentions are not good enough.

Good intentions without action behind it means nothing. If you don’t put fire behind your intention, that intention dies. How would you like if the Lord only intended to die for us? If He’d not put action behind it, we’d be a most miserable people. If you really intend to do something, it would have been done. So when you are in a warring with your flesh, its a conflict. I’m glad the Lord didn’t get cold feet when it came to us. I’d rather for someone to say that they can’t do something, than to say they intend to do something, and don’t do it. When thinking if a person will go forward with doing something for someone else they say “Well how did they treat me last week? They didn’t treat me right. They borrowed money from me last time. No I don’t like them. You borrow money and didn’t pay me back.” The other person says “I was intent on paying you back.” We’re always in a conflict with ourselves. We do things for people according to if they did something for us. Conflict and intentions have a hand in hand relationship, because conflict keeps you from carrying out intentions. Opposition keeps you from carrying out intentions. Your attitude towards a person keeps you from being a brother or sister in Christ to that person. There is war between brothers and sisters in Christ. If a brother or sister didn’t do something we didn’t like, we hold back brotherly love. The Bible says we should care about others more than ourselves. If we don’t, we spread discord because a sister or brother didn’t get the love needed, and so they spread bitterness and it trickles down to the next person. We ought to know how to talk to our brothers and sisters, motivating them to do good and not to do jackedupness. I don’t want you to leave hurt. If we don’t do go to our brothers, their hurt will be internalized and the hurt will be spread. Care about your brother or sister. Isn’t something how we get jealous? We have so much opposition. Why because there is a selfish nature inherited by humans. Jesus with the disciples who were going to dinner rebuked Jesus for sitting with publicans and sinners. Jesus said He came not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. We must not have a selfish mentality.

James 1:5-8

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

We want to look good before other peoples eyes, because our intentions are not good. There is a war and conflict going on. Don’t think God is going to answer you when you have a mindset to do things for show. Did you know being a Christian is a lonely road? You go through a lot of trials and tests, because He wants to make you. We say to the Lord, why are You taking me through all this? Why me? I don’t want to go through another test? We complain through the entire thing, then at the end, we say Lord, it was good for me to go through that. There is always a conflict because our flesh wants to kick against everything. We say I’ll go help sister or brother so and so clean their house, because its filthy. You work tirelessly. When you get to your own house, you’re so tired and fall asleep, and miss your time with Lord because you were too busy doing something for someone else. When you have an intent to do something, make sure you carry it out.

How do we get beyond not carrying out our intentions? Its selfishness. It’s alright to be selfish, but not to the detriment of being with Him. When we have intentions the pray, and we don’t what kept us? Its the warring that takes place in our lives, souls, and day to day operation. We intend to do good, but you can’t be double minded as James says. When you’re warring it means a struggle between opposing forces. The word conflict is a clash between forces. There is a clash inside of you. What are you warring against? What things are distracting you? Phone calls, frivolous things? But you just told Jesus that you don’t have time. We make the time for what we want to make time for, and then we complain when we think Christ isn’t coming on time. When we get in trouble when do we want Jesus? Before hand so when we get in trouble we don’t need to worry about calling Him. Can you imagine Jesus talking to the Father about us saying “oh Lord.” Then the Father says to Jesus, “Well You died for them.” Our intent needs to be carried out. The Lord asks one thing of us: to Love Him. Then He said after you love Me, love others. He didn’t ask you for your car or to burn 20, 000 houses to sacrifice to Him, He just said love Me, and as you love Me, love one another. Its your reasonable service just to love. So when you intend to do something, don’t intend, just do it. Its you who makes the promises you don’t keep.

Do you remember Samson? He had all that strength to be used for Lord, but he was fighting against the people who were fighting against his people, the Philistines. He had a conflict. How about David? He had conflicts. How about Saul? People don’t realize that these conflicts in their lives were destroying their communication and walk with God.

Proverbs 16:1-9

The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

A man plans his ways, but God guides his steps in the way they should go. There is a way that seems right to a man, a woman, a child, but the end thereof is death. Your mind plays tricks on you. If your mind is jacked up, then how will your way be? Those who think themselves something are nothing. When you think your something, your nothing, there is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof is the way of death. When you think you’re something, then your end is death.

Point your finger at yourself and say “You’re always getting me into trouble.” No one makes you do anything. You do things because you want to. You remember the old song “The devil’s on my back.” The devil isn’t on your back, if he was, you’d be all jacked up. He doesn’t care about you. He has too many other things to do than to be on your back. The Lord is the one that cares about you. Satan just doesn’t want you to win more souls to God. Satan knows there is a God and he trembles. You hear some people say “I ain’t scared of no God,” meanwhile, Satan, God archenemy trembles at Him. We need to realize that we can’t beat God or jack Him up.

Make sure the intents of your heart are genuine.

Being of Oneness Mind and Heart

Philippians 2:1-2

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded,

That is a strong statement because in this day and age, all these different fellowships and ministries out there are not being likeminded. A lot of them are perpetuating a fraud. They are teaching only how to be one up on their fellow brothers. They are not teaching the same word, they are teaching about power, money, and bigger ministries.

Philippians 2:2-3

having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

This is the problem because when you are trying to get one up on another ministry so you look better than another ministry or “the one,” you tend to walk over other ministries. You tend to attack other ministries. And to let you know up front this is not the love of God and not what he intended for the body of baptized believers. He wants you to support your brother of lesser finance of help. He wants you to look on your brothers and help them so that they won’t have lack. But if you know of a ministry who is struggling along, but still reaching out and trying to touch the heart of the people in this world and know that they are in financial devastation or in need of spiritual help, how dwells the love of God in you? How does it correlate with Philippians 2: 1-2?

Philippians 2:3

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

It’s not about you. God gave us a ministry to help our brothers and sisters first and then to help the world who are in need and crying out for help and for us to show God’s love toward them. But in this day and age, everyone seems to be promoting one another, taking them to another level of leadership. They haven’t even begun to go out into the high ways and hedges and compel those come into the house. God is not about that.

Philippians 2:4

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

In other words, don’t be selfish. Ministries today are looking more on how to please their ministry than to help fellow ministries. They only can see themselves, selfishly.

Philippians 2:5

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

That is about supporting your fellow ministry, your brethren and sister in ministry.

1 Corinthians 1:10-11

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.  For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

It talks about we who are of one mind should address the things of God. The Lord keeps saying over and over, be you of one mind.

Romans 12:1-5

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

The problem is someone is thinking more of their brothers because they have a lot of members, finances, a location. So they look down on their brothers and mistreat, find problems, quickly find that their brother is not adequate in the Word. This is the heart of these individuals. Not realizing the world of God tells you to be careful Matthew 7, judge not that you be not judged. You begin to kill your brother, assassinate him slowly so that his ministry will not get out of the rut it was in. The Bible says if you see your brother standing in need and you shut up your bowels of compassion toward him, how dwell the love of God in you? Its a terrible thing to look down on your brother, and count how long he’s been in ministry and say maybe he shouldn’t be in ministry. What you’re saying is God made a mistake. You stand in a very dangerous place because all that you have God will take away and you will be as the pauper on the street all because of what came from your mouth spreading gossip.

Romans 12:5

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Christ has been trying to get this message across for countless generations. It tells us that we should have the same mind, walk the same talk the same, renew our minds so that when people see one of us they will see Christ. Christ is not confused and not misdirected. He wants us to be Him down on this Earth because the only Christ that He will see in this day and age are his people. So if His people are talking about one another assassinating one another, they are not going to come to Christ because they see this is the same thing that goes on in the world. We’re supposed to be helpers one to another, and not a helper with your own ulterior motive or agenda underneath. It is not about promotion, it’s about dedication and devotion. Like the world of God said:

Philippians 2:5

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
