Their Is a Way That Seems Right Unto You, but What Is Your End?

In this time of uncertainty in our lives have you ever asked yourself this question: Are my heart and my mind on the same page? Can my life be way better then what it is now or why is my life so full of pain and turmoil? You might even ask yourself what life is suppose to be about. This leads us to the
question: what does life mean to you? You might want to ask yourself, where your understanding of life came from and who or what has shaped your understanding.

In the book of Proverbs 16:25-29 says, 25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 26 He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him. 27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. 28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends. 29 A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.

We must understand that in Proverbs 21:2 , every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

That’s why Proverbs 3:5-7 says, 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

As human beings, we need to come to one conclusion fast: if you made the mistakes in your life, how are you going to avoid the emotions of the past?
You have to remember if you try to do an alternate procedure the next time to avoid the same mistake as before, your spiritual adversary knows this. So in turn demons will put a twist in the narrative or the next time, knowing that the same weakness are still in you which caused your previous failures, use the same tactics to trip you up.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 says, 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

As long as you haven’t made an actual step or action both mentally and physically, by the renewing of your conscience thoughts, then you will continually fall into the same snare, just different situations.

James 1:13-15 says, 3 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

In My conclusion remember what Philippians 4:4-9 says, 4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever
things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God
of peace shall be with you.

May the Lord have mercy on the hearer of this word for the day is short and the time is at hand.

What Does Jesus Need to Do to Get Through to You?

In the movie Color Purple, there is a song that was a hit on stage with choirs everywhere. The title of the song is “God is Trying to Tell You Something.” The scene entails a young women, the daughter of a preacher that had a beautiful voice, and she went into the worldly night clubs to sing. Then one day she was singing Blues outside at a lake near her Dad’s church. During the Church service, one of the old mothers leaned over and said to tell the Choir to sing, “God is Trying to Tell You Something” while the Dad was preaching that God has a way to drive you back home. When a young girl in the choir started to sing, her voice carried across the lake, drowning out the Pastor’s daughter, in so much that the Pastor’s daughter could sing no more. Everybody stopped their activities, looking at her, wondering why she had stopped singing. Then suddenly the Pastor’s daughter began to sing the same she heard the choir sing, beginning to walk towards the Church on the other side of the lake. She was singing with joy as everybody from the club followed behind her. They eventually reach the Church door and interjected with singing loudly along with the choir. The daughter came face to face with her Daddy and ran up to hug him tightly, and said in his ear, “See Daddy, sinners have soul too,” with tears.

Now this leads me to the song that was sung, “God is Trying to Tell You Something.” It’s not just a song, but it was one form of communication through which God was trying to speak with or reach an individual. God has been trying to talk to all of us in multiple ways:

  • 1. Through other people
  • 2. Through dreams
  • 3. By the words of the Bible (KJV)
  • 4. Through events in one’s life whether Good or bad tragedies

When all your efforts or hard work on a thing get worse or even fail, it’s sometimes hard to know when Jesus is trying to talk to you, when you are full of you.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 14:12

Sometime as people we can’t see reasoning when we are looking at it from unrealistic or unreasonable mindsets. That is why one can’t talk to a hungry person about anything until that person has been given what they need.

14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James 2:14-18

Why try to gain the things of this life that fad away like flowers or 3 day old pizza? You know the pizza has sat out in a box for a few days and has grown mold on it, or you left it at the back of the refrigerator for a couple days and it become harder and inedible. I think we all can attest to that. But the question you must ask yourself is this: how much does your soul mean to you?

14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James 2:14-18

Last, the Word of God says this:

15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

Hebrews 3:15

And it is so!
