While in a Storm, Whose Report Will You Believe Jesus or Men

In this world of misdirection of one’s own understanding, along with the controlling thoughts of others, man’s heart has turned colder and hard. People are so into themselves and have their own form of salvation. This is not according to the Word of God, but it’s according to their own form of knowledge that is derived from the hurt and pain they have endured, over the different types of emotional and irrational events in their life, or from the life of others. These kind of things in peoples lives will cause people to doubt Jesus words or even that He is who He said He is.

This type will begin to establish their own type of righteousness using an augmented form of the words of Jesus and will then will try to control others or convince them to follow their way of understanding, leading them into a from of holiness that is not from the Lord, but from their own form of ungodliness. In this world, this has become the norm for a lot of people.

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

2 Timothy 3:5-8

Why is it that out of hurt and revenge, coupled with a broken heart and trust issues, that people tend to drag others into their pain and anguish?Living that emotional event in their life over and over, thereby creating the perfect storm in their life. Storms tend to draw everything around them in to their midst. Anything that comes in contact with a storm gets destroyed as well. We all know if we are caught in someone else’s storm. You may ask yourself, “How would I know if I’m caught in somebody’s else storm?” You need to ask yourself these question:

  1. Do you find yourself upset when you’re around the thing that person doesn’t like?
  2. When you are around that individual who has a storm, are your emotions heighten?
  3. Are you a dumping ground for their disgust or are you their sounding board?
  4. Do you feel heavy and spiritual depleted after leaving them?
  5. Is their lifestyle a Godly one?
  6. Do you feel you have to repent after having been with them?
  7. Do they always find fault with real people of God?

So I’m asking all of you…who’s report do you believe? If you start believing the word of the ungodly, then their perfect storm will begin to distort your view of God’s love. You might ask, “What shall I do?”

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18

I’ll leave you with why we do what we do for Christ.

1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 53: 1-12

When Two Worlds Collide Inside of You

We started out on this journey in Christ never really realizing how much of a life of conflict, confrontation and the intensity at which it would display in our lies. We would encounter so many things in our walk in Yah’Shua (Jesus). If you didn’t realize yet, when going through a transformation, there is an actual battle taking place in your mind and body. Its almost like in the horror movie when the young teen is bitten by a werewolf that transforms him into a werewolf. His body begins to congeal and contort into the shape of the very thing that bit him. Now the process the teen was going through came about in him because of the war that was going forth in his body between his human cells and the cells of the invading contaminated werewolf. It’s similar to the same thing we are going through with the contamination of sin. The incoming sin and the internal sin is at war with the move of the Holy Ghost inside of you. We have claimed sin nature as part of our characteristics and try to pass it off as who we are. However, the Holy Ghost is saying no, that is what sin wants you to be. You see that which the sin nature is trying to display and you get confused and think that is a part of your personality. Your sin nature is trying to mold you into a shape of what it wants you to appear to be like before others. We have claimed it to be a part of our characteristics as though that is who you are. No! The sin nature is trying to contort you into a thing of the sin nature, trying to tell you that that is who we are. But the Holy Ghost says that is not who you are. Your sin nature is trying to mold into the shape of what it wants you to be before others, to fool you into a false sense of security so you’ll get satisfied in that state. Holy Ghost says that isn’t the way He designed you. With the Holy Ghost in you and sin nature in you, they’re warring against each other on a daily basis, sometimes on a moment by moment basis. How many have been sitting alone, then all of a sudden a demonic thought pops up? Why? The sin nature is trying to be eradicated out of you, but rears its ugly head up. Why? The Holy Ghost is rooting out all that mess that has been in your for years that hid itself.

David said purge me with hyssop. Hyssop is a rough bush with short branches that have a byproduct that is used to clean out things. David said wash me Lord, clean me with hyssop. It was known to scrap things off really well. Scrap all that stuff off of me. Wash me and I’ll be whiter than snow. He wasn’t talking about his outer-man, but his soul. Do you know your soul picks up things like a magnet? How many are familiar with neodymium magnets? They are very strong. You can’t put it to any metal with your hand between it, or you’ll get hurt. Your soul is like a magnet, picking up anything not like it simply because its there. We have to make sure that whatever we’re around is not bad or evil, because our souls will gravitate toward it. David says make me to hear joy and gladness. How many volunteer to hear bad news all the time? No one. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me. Why would he say that? That old heart is jacked up and doing things it shouldn’t, so give me a new heart and renew my soul within me so I’ll be able to do what? A lot of times when we talk to the Lord, we don’t talk to Him with the right spirit or mindset. Our soul is not talking, rather our flesh is, but we continue to say the same thing to Him like a broken record. How many like listening to a broken record? How do you think the Lord feels about us constantly coming to His face about it? Yet He’s merciful, loving and kind, and continues to listen.

7)Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8)Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9)Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10)Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11)Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12)Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13)Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Psalms 51:7-13

In this process of being cleaned and transformed your going to encounter things about yourself that you never new existed in you, some good but a lot bad, ugly and nasty that you don’t want to own up to. Also stuff in you that you always knew was there but tried to ignore it, hoping that it wouldn’t be revealed and that it would hide itself away in the dark recesses of your subconscious mind never to be seen or heard of ever again. There are things about you that you don’t want anyone to know, so you try to push it out of your face. Everything that you try to push away has a way of coming to the surface in your life. A situation brings it up. You can’t even pray right, when you aren’t right. You can’t reach Him because there is something blocking that communication you have with Him.

The Word of God tells us that the battle we are going through may seem overwhelming and daunting, but the battle is the Lord’s. Know this, we should gather up our resolve and our wits about ourselves and put on the full armor of God and prepare for battle, knowing that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood.

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.


2 Chronicle 20:15

Sometimes you have to take a step back out of you and look at the battle God has you in because its trying to cleanse you. Haven’t you noticed that certain things people say to you or certain ways people treat you bring a certain resolve out of you that you didn’t know was there? Being in a battle tends to bring out all those attributes and elements you didn’t know you had inside of you. You thought you were a reserved individual, but you get in a battle and never know what you’ll do in a battle. That battle is with sin in your life. A lot of times you win, sometimes you don’t. Sin tries to maintain a hold on you so you can’t reach your goals in Christ. The two worlds of Sin and Salvation are warring inside of you. Sin doesn’t want to give up, because sin is attached to your emotions. If you’re bound by something, sin has you bound and doesn’t want to let go. Keeping you bound is keeping you from your destination. Satan isn’t trying to defeat you, but slow you down. Its like the proverbial salesman comes into your house to sell you a car. He describes every aspect of what is already your car. He gets you confused about things so he can trick you. Look what Satan did to Christ, taking Him to the highest pinnacle of the temple. All of the land he showed Him he said could be His. Salesmen know how to get you to buy a car. How many walk into a store vowing to only get one thing, but when you leave you come out with a whole grocery list worth of items. Satan will bring you into a situation where you’ll take this sin, that sin and a little of that sin because its there. He’s giving it to you at a discount. You didn’t know there were discount sins? He even has free sins.

The battle is not yours its the Lord’s. He’s trying to create in you a clean heart. He’s trying to renew your spirit. People intentionally try to get on your bad side. Does anyone here have a bad side? How many buttons does it take to get to that bad side? We have a point that we’ll reach called the point of no return. You’re fed up with someone, then you start thinking evil thoughts about that person. That is how quick Satan will drag you down, and the sin was free and discounted. Discounted one’s are real good because you try to get it. Others costs, but Satan will get it to you at a bargain price. We all like discounts don’t we? A lot of people are attached to something that says sale. Satan knows what you are weak about in your walk, and he will put something there knowing you’re going to go for it for you to make that same mistake over and over again. Satan wants to delay you. If can delay you he has you.

When we get into a battle, don’t we prepare by getting armored up, bullet proof this and helmet that? But when we get ready to fight against sin in our lives, we don’t do that. But the Bible tells us to do this:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;


Ephesians 6:12-14

We don’t prepare for battle. When you get up in the morning and stand on the floor, are you prepared for battle? No. We go through routines. Routines in your life have caused your life to go down hill. When you get up in the morning, the first thing you should say is “Lord I’m going into battle.” How about making sure you have the word in your mind and heart? If you can, put a list of scriptures together, put 10 scriptures together that you love and say them in the morning. You need to have power scriptures. Look at your power scriptures. Whatever it is post it, so before you walk out of the door, say each and every last one of them before you walk out of the door. The more and more you do that, your heart will change. These are set armors, having the Word of God before you. The Word that you speak will travel before you get to your location. You’ve spoken a word of protection. You will feel awesome and better about yourself. How many even say scriptures? Understand the context of what’s going on. You’re putting on your armour. The Word is your armour. This is what the Children of God should do on a regular basis. Get the most powerful scriptures. No weapon formed against me…I can do all things through Christ…working together with others for God’s purpose. Get scriptures that will be a powerful force in your life, before you leave out of the house and go into the world. You know that everywhere you go, there is a spirit waiting out there for you, and they will get on you. A spirit doesn’t have to get inside of you to possess you, a spirit can possess objects. You take the objects home and that spirit will go with you. If you go into a foreign country, don’t buy souvenirs, because you don’t know who made that device or whose had hands on it. Satan know that. That is true when you buy souvenirs from this country too. Just because its American doesn’t mean its safe. Don’t pick things up you don’t have any clue about. You’ve got to be careful.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.


1 Peter 4:12

As people we must remember this one thing if you can’t remember any thing else and that’s in the book of Colossians 1:25-27, “Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.


Colossians 1:25-27

You have Christ in you, those who are the saints of God. So when you go and buy something at the store that is not right, you’re saying God would buy that. When you go and clock someone, and knock them out, you’re saying God will do that. When you’re violent toward someone, when you talk about someone, lie on someone, missuse them, if you are wrong, you’re saying Jesus is like that. We say that Christ is in us right? We’re saved right? Your hope in Him is Christ being in you, and with Him being in you, you won’t be able to sin.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.


Ephesians 6:13

When you see no hope, just stand. Put your trust in God. It works. Just stand. Amen.

What Aspects of Christianity Are You Practicing?

Sometimes our Salvation is predicated on the things that God gives us, what He does for us, or how He feels about us before we take it upon ourselves to say “this is the Creator who created me.” Some people who call themselves Christians are falling into what we might say is the Christian Identity Syndrome, taking the life of Jesus Christ and His word like ordering a meal at a restaurant, where everything is a la carte. Everything in Christianity is expected to be separate items on a restaurant menu, and the assumption is you have the option to choose how you want to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What aspect of Christianity are you following? What makes you a Christian? Do you not know that there is more than one aspect of Christianity that you are to take into consideration? Anybody can take the good aspects of Christianity, but no one wants to take the disciplinarian aspects of Christianity. The Bible says that whatever a man sows, that shall he reap. If you plant a seed of corn, don’t expect a pear tree to come up. So if you sow anger, strife, hatred, all those things into the ground or into the a person, what you’ll get out is the same negative thing you threw in. If you aren’t putting good stuff within you, good stuff won’t come out of you. If you allow your neighbors, friends or the world to put stuff in you, then what will come out of you are the things they’ve placed in you. Anger, jealously, hatred…so when someone sees you and asks, “What do you have for me?” What comes out will be negative and they will say that you, as a Christian, were evil. Will the real Child of God stand? Stand up in the midst of a battle? When things are not good. Stand. When everything is against you. Stand. When you don’t have money. Stand. But if you’re not a Child of God, you won’t know how to stand. Last time, I read the Word of God, I believe it said He die for total humanity, inclusive of all their sins. What would Christianity look like if man was on a chart like a menu and it had every expectation listed of what God wants from mankind labeled with no time limits? What is God asking from you? Total submission, obedience, love, happiness…He wants you to be joyful…the world goes up and says they only want love. What about obedience, caring, sacrifice? Christianity is not what you want it to be, its what it is. Christian means to be Christ-like. How can you be Christ-like when everything you exemplify is like the world? The Word of God says there is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof are the ways of death? Why? Because you take Christianity a la carte.

Everyone wants someone to love them, hug them, and be around and care for them, right? In Ecclesiastes 3:1 it says there is a time and season for everything under heaven. There is a time to live and die, time to love and not to love. There is a time to be angry and not, because the Bible tells us we can be angry but not sin. There is a time to plant and there is a time to pick up. People try to do things out of season for their own benefit, because “they felt.” But when you feel, its your will. God is not mocked, what a man sows that shall he reap. God will not make you do anything, because He is not a God of control. He just says if you love Me keep My commandments. By love shall you do them, because out of love you won’t do them. These are the things that people negate because they don’t want that aspect of Christianity. Its just like in a marriage. Each partner does what the other likes out of love. It isn’t right for one of the partners to gansterize the spouse by using their emotions to move them in the direction of control. This is not of God. He said whosoever will let him come. God does not say “you better get in here or else!” God is not gangster. God’s way is to ask, “If you love Me would you do that?” If we say no, He’ll go on about His business, seeking for the soul who will say yes. Blessings then are showered on the one who said yes, and the one who said no gropes and moans about what the other person has. The one who says no talks about Jesus, says he knows Jesus, but his actions shows that they don’t love Him because they don’t do what He asks. The Lord Jesus Christ is not an a la carte God. The Lord tells us in His Word in the book of John 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commandments.” He didn’t say keep some of His commandments or even most of His commandments but all His commandments.

Can you imagine a world where people only live according to the Word of God only most of the time? What a world it would be! We are living in a world like that today. People are choosing what they want to do and how they want to serve the Lord. There are people who call themselves Christians who are literally taking whips of leather with sharp metal grommets, whipping themselves saying “Lord forgive me for my sins!” They forgot about the part that says He suffered and died. He did not ask you to suffer! He paid it all on the cross. What aspect of Christianity do you practice? Our God is an all inclusive God. You have to do it all, not the part that you feel you have control of. As we go forth walking in this life, we know its not going to be easy. They tell you when you’re going to get an education that it won’t be easy. There are 1000 others student who are going for the exact same major. “Well how do I get to the front of the line,” you may ask? Its called favor. When God says that is My child, I will bless them with favor. You came in the right season and at the right time to get your blessing of favor. There is a time and season for everything. When all of it merges together, its in God’s time, and if it is, it will move you, in time.

People are living today like there is no tomorrow, and the Church is doing the same as the world. For example, the Church is dealing with abusers, drunkards, effeminate men, and lesbianism. Everything that goes on in the world, the Church experiences in the Church. It ought not be. Some of the best liars and con men you’ll find are in the House of God. From the pulpit to the floor. It shouldn’t be.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.


1 Corinthians 6:9-11

No homosexuals will inherit the kingdom. When I was growing up, it was common for Church pianist to be homosexuals. It was a known thing. The keyboard moves people with the melodic sound. If there is a spirit in you, it goes out into your music. The Church Pastors, Deacons, Elders and Ministers didn’t recognize it until it was too late. The leaders in the Church wanted those with an awesome talent to get people happy and excited, so they can go in their pockets. We allow it. You choose what you want to come into your life and mind. I don’t choose for you and God doesn’t choose for you. Because we don’t have an understanding, we choose the wrong thing. All the people mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 will not be going to Heaven. These types of people are in the Church, the body of Christ of baptized believers who call on the name of the Lord. Somebody opened the door for the mess to come in. Misery likes company. So the weak person gets with the weak person in the Church. If they are jacked up concerning the word, they will make the other person jacked up even more so. If you have a pastor or leader not aware of them being jacked up, and they are placed over something in the Church what happens to that? The Word of God tells us that man’s heart has become so cold that they are choosing everything but God. The people described in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, God has said we once were. If we were once like that, why bring that mess back into your life again? Why associate with those who are like that again? If you were bound with that before, what will people living like that bring to you? A bound nature.

In this world, the tide has changed and the law has become the lawless. As for the some of those so call Christians of today, they are just like the world but with a topping of Christ, a la carte. You get to pick and choose how and what a Christian is defined by your own understanding and experience. How many have had cake without icing? It was good, but when it had icing, it tasted better. That is how the people of God in the Church who call themselves Christians are like. They have an appearance of Godliness. They have a covering of icing on their heads where when people look at them it is said that they are so sweet. Yet in reality they are like ravenous wolves waiting for the opportunity to tear you down. I don’t want anyone around me who will remind me that I’m living in sin, they say. If that happens I have to attack that individual to make them think less of themselves so they will faint. People gain knowledge and understanding about what they’ve come in contact with and by what people directly or indirectly have taught them. They need to corrupt who you are, so just in case they don’t make it on that last day when they stand before the Lord they can make an accusation before Him against you. They’ll say to the Lord, “Do you realize they did this and that and that and this, and you won’t let me in? I served You too!” When people are caught in a lie, they lie more.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.


1 Corinthians 10:23

What is lawful? Permitted, legitimate, allowable, approved. What is expedient? Convenient, practical, although possibly improper or immoral. All things are permitted, but all things are not practical. All things are allowable for me but all things are not good for me. Its good to drive a car fast, but is it expedient? If you drive too fast, its not good. It may appear to be good and look good. I can look at a dessert and eat it up. It was good to look at and good to taste, but now I’ve gained too much weight. It was good but wasn’t proper for me. Its good to have a job and get money, but not profitable to work overtime everyday.

You can weigh whether a person is a Christian or not by these factors:

1. Their level of ability to comprehend. If a person can’t understand the Word, how will they live it?

2. Their frame of consciousness or state of mind. If you’re trying to be taught something and your not conscious of what is going on, how would you ever understand and know what the Word of God says?

3. Their immediate point of reference. What are you’re conditions in this life? What is your reference point in life? Where did you come from, how did you grow up? In a hard environment or surroundings? Was your state of being disturbed? Was it conducive to you getting a proper understanding in life?

4. What outside influence was in your life? School? Your neighborhood? Outside influences shouldn’t deter you from your walk in Christ.

By asking these four questions, you will be able to answer or explain your perception on any truth on things that effect you in your Christian life and walk. Will you be able to explain to someone why you do what you do, without using someone else words? What does it mean to you to serve the Lord or to live holy or to walk upright before your God? Can you explain that? Christianity is more than just “Saying I am,” its “Doing I am.” No body likes you or wants to be around you. You make everyone feel guilty. Its not you, its the Word of God that is in and around you that makes them feel guilty. Its not about you its about Christ. They don’t like the fact you serve Him.

How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul. Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him. An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.


Proverbs 16:16-28

Verse 19 explains you need to change your surroundings to people who have a humble spirit, because a high minded person will try to control you. Verse 22-23 tells you not to run your mouth about foolishness or things you don’t know about. Verse 25-28 speaks of the things being taught by an ungodly man. He teaches ungoliness and evil. The burning fire he teaches is not of the Holy Ghost and not of God, but ungodliness.

Where the love of God is there lies truth and understanding of being a true Christian, which mean being just like Yeshua (Jesus Christ). The Lord says if you are My child, you will exhibit ways like Me; talk like Me walk like Me act like Me. People will not know the difference and think it is Me! No one should ever stop you from going forth and being what God wants you to be. They don’t have the right. People feel they have control over you and if it doesn’t work directly, they’ll use things like love to make you do what they say. Only one person can tell you, “If you love Me keep my commandments,” and that is Jesus.

What is wrong with the world today? Its Godless. There is so much control in this society today. Once you get connected to the right source, but leave it, you’re on your own. You may not find another source you can connect to and know you’re hearing from God. Satan doesn’t want you to be connected. He wants you to look like a Christian, walk like a Christian, but be empty. Satan just wants you to be a vessel to carry his mess so he can spread mess to everyone you come in contact with. Paul said you have to die daily to yourself. Why? Because daily offenses come your way. So you have to learn how to die to your flesh. Yet your flesh says, “You know you love it,” but you must say, “No, you’ll not get the victory today.” If you give into it, whose unctioning your flesh? Satan. So when you’re flesh says to do something, and you commit the sin, we go through. When you get up, Satan comes to tempt you again. Its the little things that we do that we think are ok with God that Satan knows which he tempts us with. Satan isn’t trying to convert you to him, he is trying to delay you, getting you hooked on things you’re bound by. He’s good at it. The Bible says if it weren’t for the Holy Ghost, no flesh would be saved, because He’d have to shorten the days. Yet we think we can handle it. If Satan took Christ to the top of the pinnacle of a building and was subject to Satan’s temptations, why do we think we can handle Satan? You are Satan’s enemy. You have to fight and can’t allow yourself to be tricked. Its hard, but if it weren’t how would your faith be tried? You need to be put in the fire as the sword so that when it is beaten, then quenched, it hardens. Then its put into the fire again, and when it is hot, it is beaten again, then quenched again. When it cools, it is sharpened and can cut a piece of hair. God is teaching and trying us, beating us into raw material to be used.

So when you are called by God to somewhere to pray for people, the devils in Hell know you’re on your way. They’ve sent messages because they know you are a sharpened sword, and what comes out of your mouth cuts. The demons don’t want you to be there to affect the people, so when you walk into the room, everything comes to silence, because the of the presence of the Holy Ghost is on you, a vessel that has been sharpened. When you intercede, demons will get out as quickly as possible because they know you are a true, tried solider that has been beaten into place, made sharpened and hardened. They can’t tempt you.

If you aren’t going through something, you’d better check to see if you’re walking the way God wants you to walk, because its a daily test and trial for us. When those days come upon us that we don’t feel the presence of God in our lives, you should know for a fact that He is with you. The Holy Ghost will never leave you. God will never leave you or forsake you. Use the authority and power you’ve been given of the anointing of the Holy Ghost to do what you need to do. That is a good soldier.

Is What Men Say Better Than What God Says?

As we began to live our lives in the year 2019, a lot of things are being uncovered and revealed. The truth can no longer be hidden. The life changing reality about ourselves is becoming real to us each day in a season of time, like a movie coming to a crescendo in an orchestra of life, being played out on this world-stage. Sometimes you hear people say, “my life is going before my eyes.” Later came sooner than what you thought. A lot of times we get caught up in a situation in life. For me I had a career that was more important. You don’t need anything but your career right? Wrong.

Truly these are the last days, when you see men, women and even children boldly proclaiming a so called liberty. Some of us don’t understand what liberty is and we take it for granted. We always quote the scripture “whom the the Lord sets free, is free indeed.” That isn’t free to attack someone, or steal. You are free in your mind, because we have been bound in our hearts and minds for years. Who told you you’d have to work for 8 hours? We know at the end of 8 hours we get paid, because someone has instructed you to work. Have you ever thought about who told you to do the things you do? We proclaim “no one tells me what to do!” Yet we still do it. Is it us or someone else who showed us about doing it? Many things that come to our hearts and minds are not from us really. Its from our lifestyle and surroundings, being dictated to everyday of our lives. How do you know to drive on the right side of the road? Some things become a blunt truth to you. You do things that won’t interfere with someone else. But there is no one telling you who to love, right? We choose to do what we do.

One of the first and true signs of a society that is beginning to decline is when those in that society loose their sense of identity and true purpose of existence. You become a statistic. Do you know why you exist? Have you ever thought about it? What does it mean to you? When you have a society that allows young men and women to run the street like ravenous wolves mating with the first thing they see whether male or female and sometime animals, and some of the older generation are afraid to say anything or are so busy, caught up in their own types of sin that they don’t take the time to do something about it, until it directly impacts them… We all have a certain routine in our lives don’t we? If we step out of routine, we forget what we’re suppose to do. To some of us sin has become a routine because we do it so much and so often that we don’t think about, as it has become a part of who we are. When society dictates to us that its ok to have a sin nature and we follow after it, where are we? When you see young guys getting young girls pregnant, and Dad’s are telling their son that its ok, what sort of society do we belong to that we don’t respect one another? When you are in a state of mind that its ok to hurt someone, where are the parents who care? Society doesn’t care where your children are, what you think about your family, or that your son or daughter are on the street at 2 and 3 o’clock in the morning; the hours that Satan likes to be busy.

Parents are caught up in their busy lives and don’t have “time” to tell the truth and disciple their kids concerning the truth. Mom’s out trying to find a boyfriend, and the daughter’s out trying to find any man, and the son is out there impregnating any woman. If that situation isn’t taking place, control is where someone is trying to get someone to do something that they want carried out for themselves.

1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.


2 Timothy 3:1-7

Even in the House of God some of us are more concerned about what others say about us then what Jesus might say about us. Does what the world say weigh heavily on how you conduct your life in this world? Does what your so call friends say mean more then what Christ or Yahweh says? Does what your family say cause you to second guess your walk? How about your boss or maybe even your peers? Do you seek approval from the society or even the world? Do you seek validation from someone in order to feel confident? Are you afraid to be left outside in the rain of life while everyone else goes in? Is fear a big part of what you do? The fear of not being accepted, understood, received, or loved? Are you despondent of telling or standing up for the truth? What does standing up for the truth mean to you? Are you concerned someone may not like you anymore? Some of us see the problem in our lives, but we’re afraid to stand up and say “I know!” Who is your worse enemy? Yourself. If you are your own worst enemy, its you who accepts what people say about you, who stands up for the truth, and who is not ashamed of the Gospel of truth, because its unto salvation. The Lord says is there one? Is there one who will stand up for the truth? Who loves Him enough not to give up on Him, and not to surrender to anything else?

When you’re caught up in that whirlwind of a mess, its hard to take your feet and step out of it because its sucking you back in the moment you come out of it. What do you do? The Word of God tells us choose ye this day whom you will serve. Will it be God or this world? What will it be? The choice is yours. We still have the ability to choose what destiny we want in our lives. When you go to either heaven or hell, you can’t say to Christ that you never had a chance. When you stand before Him, you can’t bring up that thing that caused you to sin, because He said He’d never give you anymore than you could bear without giving you a way of escape. In other words, you had an opportunity to get out of the mess but you decided to stay in it because you were afraid of what people might say. You’ve been in sin so long, that you don’t know how to get out of it. Don’t allow someone else mess to become yours. They always want to drag you into their lives, one way or another. We have so many things we’re dealing with that we don’t need any others. Are you tired of being in the rain?

37) But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: 38) That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? 39) Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40) He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. 41) These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. 42) Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43) For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.


John 12:37-43

It may seem hard at times to confront our reality about who we are, but the only way healing can take place in you is to face yourself straight on and forgive yourself and begin to walk in the truth.

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
The last scripture I want to leave you with is:


2 Timothy 2:3-5

When you are in the House of God, you are being taught how to survive this world, if you want to survive it. Its up to you. Teaching and training you through the Word of God and the wisdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He prophecies before we go into things and tells us whats going to happen. We have a problem with entangling ourselves in the affairs of this life.


For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.


Timothy 4:3-5

How many want to grow? Everyone right? Are you tired of being stagnant? Where does stagnancy come from? You procrastinating your destiny. I can’t make anybody grown. Now if you’re a plant, I could give you good spring water, peatmoss and fertilizer. But you aren’t a plant, but a Child of God, and the only thing I can give you is the Word of God. The Word of God will grow you up if you allow it by the renewing of your mind, you’ll be transformed. The way you use to be, you won’t be anymore.

How Much of what You Do is for You, Not Jesus

Do we ever think how much of our day is spent concerning us than the things of Christ? As we ponder here in the house of God today, what has been your most involved thought this morning? Even before you started your day this morning, or even now. Do we ever realize how much of our day we spend thinking about what is most important to us personally and not of Christ or of benefiting of others? Sometime we, exclusive of Christ, can be the most
selfish people there are, because our hearts are so much involved with our desires, that evil thoughts
can invade our hearts. We tend to think that we need this or that, when Jesus said in Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Jesus also said that we should take more care for the things of others than ourselves. In a nut shell, how well do we know ourselves and what are our motives in Christ Jesus? Why do you do the things you do? Is it because you love Him, fear Him, or because you have nothing else to do?

Luke 6:44-48
For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Many people in Church today are showing up. To do what? Absolutely nothing. It becomes a routine or pattern. “I come to Church because I’ve been told to come to Church,” or because “The scripture says fail not to assemble yourselves together.” Its better that there be two honest people in the Church, than a whole Church full of folks that have the Devil in them. Anybody can see a body, anybody can have a body. But nobody knows about the body that is coming in. We all pretend we are of One Body, but the body doesn’t know about its own body. “We are of the Body of Christ.” Are we in the Body of Christ? If so, what body is that? The Word of God say that if you’re apart of My body the things I do you’ll do…the things I say you’ll say. The first part of Luke 6:44-48 says for every tree is known by its own fruit. Isn’t that something? You know an apple tree because you see apples on them; a lemon tree because you see lemons on them; a peach tree because it has peaches; a plumb tree because it has plumbs; and a pear tree because it has pears. You know everything by the fruit it bears. You plant seeds for potatoes and you get cucumbers how will you feel? So we want what we want, and everything that looks like what it looks like is suppose to be what it is. So when we see the Children of God walking down the street do we know if they are apart of the body? Everyone has a “talking game,” but you’re known by your fruit.

What is you’re foundation? How did you set your foundation? Was it built upon the words of other people, and not on the Word of God? When you build upon the words of other people and not the Word of God, its easily manipulated and washed out of you and replaced with what you heard. When you go to an all you can eat, buffet style restaurant, grabbing your plate, you don’t put everything on the buffet on it. You pick and choose exactly what you want. Are the people of God today, picking and choosing what Word they want in their foundation? If you don’t choose the right things in your foundation, you have no glue that will bring everything together. All of the Word of God is good for the edification of the Body, so we shouldn’t pick and choose. We take the time to pick and choose what we want to believe from God, but not what God wants to believe in us. Its not what you want, its what you need. You need this because God needs to perfect in you a thing. What is our purpose here in the world? To be a light for the world. But our lights are dim. What is your foundation today? How much of what we do is for us and not Christ?

Ephesians 4:20-27
But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your
wrath: Neither give place to the devil.

If you’re foundation in Christ is true and sure, why is your conversation sounding like when you were in the world? Was your foundation structured and sure? You’ve already been taught of Him. What part of the teaching did you hear and not hear? If you’ve been taught Christ, then your foundation should be sure. The only thing you should be concerned about is how to walk in Christ. You will get flustrated. Flustration leads to disappointment, and disappointment leads to being disappointed in yourself. You’re foundation may be sure, but things come by that may shake your foundation. Then you have to look back and see what caused the shaking. Were you being the “old you?” Its comfortable to be the “old you,” but the “new you,” isn’t so much. The “new you,” pushes you outside your comfort zone. Don’t give place to the devil. Don’t give him the keys to your house. Whatever was in our foundation that shook it, its a door way for Satan.

Isaiah 43:6-7
I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

So as you can see we were made for God’s glory, not for our own. Nobody can do what each of us can do, because He has assigned it us. So why procrastinate? Why are we only motivated to do something when it fit our needs? How would you feel if someone didn’t appreciate the gift you’ve given them? Would you give them a gift again? A poem by C. T. Studd from “’Twill Soon Be Past” reads “Only one life ’twill soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last.” Even though this is not in the Bible, I can see why this phrase has stood the test of time because when you look at your life it will tell others the truth about how you are or were your life is in Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Colossians 3:16-17
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Psalms 37:7-10
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

You must be patient. You cannot put God on a time schedule. What happens when you’re patient? In your patience, you shall inherit the Earth.

John 15:16-20
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
